Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor's Royal Lodge exit 'expected' by Easter
The countdown is on for Andrew it seems
The former Duke of York, Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor, has been the subject of much scrutiny in recent years which has resulted in him having to leave Royal Lodge.
Over the past few months, all eyes have turned to him after he was stripped of his titles of prince and Duke of York. It was also shared that he would no longer live at Royal Lodge in Windsor.
Instead, he is expected to move out of the residence this year. Since then, many royal observers have expectantly awaited moving vans at Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor’s home.
Now, more information has emerged… and Andrew’s exit could be just on the horizon.

Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor’s Royal Lodge exit could be just around the corner
Andrew was stripped of his titles in late 2025. Now, early 2026 may see him vacate his home, where he has lived for 20 years.
According to the Daily Mail, Andrew will be out of Royal Lodge by Easter.
The royals are known to spend Easter at Windsor. They mark the occasion by attending the Sunday service at St George’s Chapel.
Andrew was present during the 2025 Easter celebrations with his royal kin, alongside his ex-wife, Sarah Ferguson.
The change is expected to see Andrew move to Sandringham, Norfolk.
Reports claim Andrew will call Marsh Farm his new home.

Andrew’s new home
Marsh Farm, formerly known as Wood Farm, is said to be a notable scaling down from sprawling Royal Lodge, that boasts 30 rooms.
The ‘modest’ brick home is said to be in need of restoration and is located seven miles away from Sandringham house itself, though is still technically on the estate.
Due to the abode’s need of updating, Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor may be hard pressed to move ahead of the Easter deadline.
The property is said to be in need of a facelift before it is ready to be lived in.
A source explained to the Daily Mail there may be a need for another temporary housing for Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor, whilst Marsh Farm is given a makeover.
The latest on Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor’s move
The source claimed: “The plan is that he will not be at Royal Lodge by Easter. But might there need to be an interim measure [as regards moving to Norfolk]? Possibly.”
“The royals are hoping to draw a line under the Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor controversy in 2026. He is expected to move out of his Royal Lodge home in Windsor for a more modest property on the King’s private Sandringham estate,” royal author Robert Jobson told Hello!.
“Whether it ends the lurid speculation about him only time will tell, but it is doubtful.”
Royal Insider has contacted Buckingham Palace and Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor’s representative for comment.
The Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor scandal
The disgraced royal has garnered such scrutiny since being linked to late convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein and his convicted associate Ghislaine Maxwell due to allegations against the royal from a victim of Epstein.
The late Virginia Giuffre alleged she was made to sleep with Andrew on three occasions when she was 17 after being trafficked by Epstein.
Andrew has always vehemently denied all allegations.
