Princesses Beatrice and Eugenie 'didn't have a choice' over royal Christmas without Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor
Tongues were wagging over how the royals would spend the festive season following Andrew's scandal
According to reports, Princesses Beatrice and Eugenie didn’t have much choice when it came to spending Christmas with the royals and not Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor.
Here is everything we know so far…
Princesses Beatrice and Eugenie ‘had no choice’ when it came to Christmas without Andrew
Despite their parents spending Christmas privately at Royal Lodge, Windsor, Princesses Beatrice and Eugenie opted for a public outing with The Firm.
This included the traditional church service and walkabout with the royals at Sandringham.

The York sisters appeared to snub Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor and Sarah Ferguson on the big day.
Surrounding the holiday, much speculation was swirling over what their arrangements truly were.
Would they spend time with their parents on another date? Did they approve?
Not much of this conversation has been confirmed.
Now, a family friend has allegedly spoken out about Eugenie and Beatrice’s decision.
In fact, they made a pretty firm claim. And it implies that the two sisters didn’t really have much choice in the matter.
As per reports, the source said: “They live and die by the monarchy.”
Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor and Sarah Ferguson ‘would have supported it’
Speaking of their participation at Christmas at Sandringham, they said: “This didn’t surprise me at all. And Andrew and Sarah would have 1,000 per cent supported it.”
Meanwhile, royal biographer Robert Jobson has agreed that Beatrice and Eugenie made the right choice.
Speaking to People Magazine, he said: “They did the right thing – showing loyalty to King Charles and to the Crown. It’s easy to say this is a snub, but they would say, ‘I’m a royal princess, I’m in line to the throne, I have been invited to attend the King’s Christmas celebrations, and you don’t turn down the King’s invitation.”

He added: “If you have an invitation, you go. It’s not an invitation – it’s a command, really.”
Royal Insider has contacted Buckingham Palace and Beatrice and Eugenie’s representatives for comment.
York sisters to ‘miss out’ on £30m inheritance
It comes after reports have claimed that Beatrice and Eugenie will allegedly no longer be able to inherit the £30 million estate Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor once had a lease on.
A property expert has explained why the sisters aren’t entitled to Royal Lodge, despite their father living their for over 20 years.

Property expert Elliot Castle, of We Buy Any Home, claims that any possibility of inheritance has now been ruled out “entirely” for Beatrice and Eugenie.
Princesses Beatrice and Eugenie reportedly have no claim on Royal Lodge
Speaking to The Mirror, Elliot Castle explained: “[This] would only have been possible while the lease remained in place. Once that lease is surrendered or terminated, there is nothing to pass on. From a property standpoint, that closes the door entirely. Royal Lodge would revert fully to the Crown Estate, with no residual claim for Andrew or his daughters.”
He continued: “The key point here is that Royal Lodge is not just a home – it’s a valuable long-term leasehold asset. Initiating a formal process to remove Andrew earlier than expected effectively strips away the remaining financial and practical value of that lease. Reports suggesting a loss of around £500,000 reflect not just moving costs, but the loss of a heavily invested, long-term residential interest that would otherwise have remained in place for decades.”
