Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor's Royal Lodge eviction date 'revealed' and it's 'sooner than thought'
Andrew will reportedly move to the Sandringham EstateAndrew Mountbatten-Windsor is preparing to leave his Royal Lodge home, but his move out date could be sooner than previously thought.
Last October, Buckingham Palace announced that Andrew, 65, would leave his sprawling Windsor property. It came as it was also confirmed he would lose his royal titles and honours amid renewed scrutiny over his links to Jeffrey Epstein.
For years, Andrew has faced criticism over his association with the late convicted sex offender. Andrew has also faced allegations of sexual assault, which he has always vehemently denied.

Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor scandal
Last October, Andrew continuously made headlines amid the release of his accuser Virginia Giuffre’s posthumous memoir. In it, she detailed her alleged encounters with the royal.
Ms Giuffre alleged she was made to sleep with Andrew on three separate occasions when she was 17 after being trafficked by Epstein.
Andrew previously reached an out-of-court settlement with Ms Giuffre in early 2022 for an undisclosed sum. She had sued him in a US civil case, accusing him of sexual assault. The royal repeated that the settlement did not mean any liability or admission of guilt.
Andrew has always denied Ms Giuffre’s allegations.
Following the release of her memoir, published six months after her tragic death in April 2025, public scrutiny was mounting against Andrew once again.
His friendship with Epstein was also making headlines at this time. Last year, resurfaced emails appeared to show that he remained in contact with the disgraced financier, longer than Andrew previously claimed.
Amid the ongoing scrutiny surrounding Andrew, his brother King Charles made a decision.
In late October, the king initiated a formal process to have Andrew’s prince title and other royal honours removed.
The palace also confirmed Andrew would leave Royal Lodge, where he has lived since 2004. Reports suggested he would move to the king’s Sandringham Estate in Norfolk.

When will Andrew leave Royal Lodge?
It hasn’t been confirmed exactly when Andrew will leave Royal Lodge, a Grade II listed house in Windsor Great Park.
However, according to The Sun, sources claim Andrew could be out before his 66th birthday on February 19.
He’s finally decided he needs to get on with his life and so is moving out sooner than thought.
The publication claims that work is being done on Marsh Farm in Sandringham, where Andrew will reportedly live. Some of this work reportedly includes new security systems such as the CCTV, a 6ft wooden fence at the front perimeter of the home, and improved electrics and sewerage systems.
But, according to sources, Andrew will stay at an even smaller property in Sandringham until Easter, when the work on Marsh Farm completes.
One insider claimed: “The snow or rain hasn’t delayed the work on Marsh Farm but it still needs a lot of attention to make it habitable. But one thing for sure is that it is a lot, lot smaller and less luxurious than Royal Lodge.”

Andrew and Sarah Ferguson to live ‘separately’
Andrew’s ex-wife, Sarah Ferguson, has also lived at Royal Lodge for some years despite their divorce in 1996. The pair share daughters, Princesses Beatrice and Eugenie.
But Sarah won’t be joining Andrew in Sandringham, it’s understood. Instead, reports claim she’ll find her own accommodation.

The source added: “He’s finally decided he needs to get on with his life and so is moving out sooner than thought and starting afresh by the end of the month, or at least before his birthday in February.
“He and Sarah will go their own separate ways for the first time in almost 20 years.”
