Kate Middleton sweetly ran to well-wishers during a trip to Scotland on Tuesday before getting in her car to leave.

The Prince and Princess of Wales were in Stirling, Scotland, on January 20 for a series of engagements.

But in one sweet moment, the Princess of Wales was quick to greet well-wishers who had gathered instead of going straight to her car.

In a video shared to X on Tuesday, Princess Catherine was seen walking towards her car as she waved and smiled at a crowd of well-wishers.

But, she quickly changed her mind and began jogging over to the crowd. Her security was also seen quickly following the princess over to the well-wishers.

Keeping her security literally on their toes. Haha.

The Princess of Wales greeted the well-wishers and accepted flowers given to her, telling them: “Thank you very much.”

She also shook their hands and took selfies, before waving them goodbye and heading back to her car.

Royal fans loved the moment, and joked that the princess was keeping her security officers on their toes!

One person gushed: “The Princess of Wales running to greet well-wishers in Scotland today. She is just amazing.”

Another wrote: “Her security’s reaction – smooth!” followed by a laughing face emoji.

Someone else commented: “Keeping her security literally on their toes. Haha.”

Meanwhile, a fourth said: “She’s always so kind and thoughtful!”

The Prince and Princess of Wales’ visit to Scotland went down a treat with fans. However, they did face one heckler, who asked them about the scandal surrounding William’s uncle Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor.

Andrew has been under intense scrutiny in recent months over his association with late convicted sex offender, Jeffrey Epstein.

The royal couple didn’t respond to the outburst, and continued with their duties.

Meanwhile, a body language expert has weighed in on images from William and Kate’s Scotland trip.

Darren Stanton said the photos show the couple share a “deep connection and a strong relationship”.

Speaking on behalf of Betfair Casino, Darren said: “When people share a deep connection and a strong relationship, they naturally reflect each other’s posture and body language, and that’s exactly what we see there.

“Another striking image is the one where she’s interacting with the crowds. Kate’s face is absolutely lit up – she’s visibly happy, and it’s clearly a genuine emotion. Both of them are truly connected at that moment.

“There’s another lovely shot where Kate is celebrating a good shot in the curling, with her fist in the air. It’s a common gesture, but it’s great to see because it reminds us that she’s human and shows how willing she is to really get involved.”
