Brooklyn Beckham warned over risks of 'pulling a Prince Harry' amid family feud
Brooklyn is estranged from his family like HarryBrooklyn Beckham has been warned about potentially taking part in a tell-all interview, similar to Prince Harry, as it “could be the worst thing he could do”.
This week, the son of David and Victoria Beckham broke his silence on the rift with his famous family. His online attack has since made plenty of headlines, with Brooklyn, 26, declaring he doesn’t want to reconcile with his family.
The shock move has been compared to that of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle. The pair quit senior royal duties and moved to the US in 2020 to become “financially independent”.
However, Brooklyn has now been handed a warning to not make what some see as Harry’s biggest mistakes.

Brooklyn Beckham and Prince Harry’s family feuds
Ever since Brooklyn began dating his now-wife Nicola Peltz in 2019, there has reportedly been tension in the Beckham family. And this week, Brooklyn slammed his parents in a scathing and lengthy statement on his Instagram Stories.
Brooklyn made a series of damming allegations about his parents. He claimed that Victoria “hijacked” his first dance with Nicola on their wedding day. He also alleged that his parents controlled narratives in the media about their family.
Prince Harry and his wife Meghan have found themselves in a similar situation with his family. The married couple became estranged from the monarchy several years ago, following Harry’s tell-all memoir, Spare, and explosive interviews, including the 2021 shock Oprah interview.
During the Oprah interview, Meghan claimed that there had been “concerns and conversations” within the royal family about how dark their son Archie’s skin might be when he was born. She also claimed that it was Catherine, Princess of Wales, who had made her cry in the lead-up to her and Harry’s 2018 wedding, not the other way around as was previously reported.
But according to a PR expert, if Brooklyn goes down a similar route and takes part in a tell-all interview, it “could be the worst thing he could do”.

Brooklyn warned about ‘pulling a Prince Harry’
Speaking on behalf of OLBG, Celebrity PR Specialist Kayley Cornelius said: “Brooklyn will likely be bombarded with offers from broadcasters wanting the exclusive scoop on his story. But selling out his story too quickly could be the worst thing he could do in the near future, despite the mass public interest.”
Referring to Prince Harry, she added: “We’ve seen with Prince Harry how overexposure or drawn-out tell-alls don’t always work in a public figure’s favour long term. And it can sometimes undermine the goodwill gained by an initial statement.”
Nonetheless, the expert pointed out: “That said, it’s possible we could see a carefully controlled interview at some point. Potentially with a figure like Oprah, where he feels he can tell his side on his own terms.”
She continued: “He arguably has the most to gain from this and has managed to completely shift the narrative around himself almost overnight.”

Harry and Meghan’s ‘support’ for Brooklyn
Last year, amid rumours of a Beckham family feud, sources claimed that Brooklyn was seeking support from Prince Harry. He and wife Nicola reportedly met the couple at a dinner in the US.
“Harry and Meghan were very empathetic and kind to them both,” a source told The Sun at the time. “Harry was fully aware of the situation and offered Brooklyn his unwavering support as someone who has been through similar.”
Royal Insider contacted reps for Harry and Meghan and Brooklyn at the time.
Harry calls for family reconciliation
Last May, Prince Harry admitted he would like to reconcile with his family.
He told the BBC: “Of course, some members of my family will never forgive me for writing a book. But I would love reconciliation with my family.
“There’s no point in continuing to fight any more. Life is precious.”
