Prince Harry is currently embroiled in a lawsuit with Associated Newspapers Limited and has attended High Court in London this week, where he testified on the witness stand against the publishers.
The Duke of Sussex reportedly made a very emotional display on the witness stand yesterday, choking on his words as he discussed the “misery” alleged unlawful information gathering has caused his wife Meghan Markle.
Surprisingly, the prince has been said to have caused some laughs too.

Prince Harry sparks laughter amid lawsuit
According to reports, ahead of Prince Harry giving evidence on January 22, Harry was questioned about his title.
David Sherborne, who is representing the Duke of Sussex and other claimants in the case, asked Harry how he should be addressed in court, and whether this would be as His Royal Highness.
In response, Harry allegedly replied: “Same as last time.”
Harry was then pressed on what this title was.
It was here that the Duke of Sussex admitted that he could not remember.
He was said to have stated: “I can’t remember.”
At this, the courtroom allegedly rippled with laughter.
David Sherbone then confirmed that Harry had been addressed as ‘Prince Harry’, following the surprise laughter.

Prince Harry testified in High Court
Yesterday, the overall feeling in High Court was definitely not amusing.
Prince Harry candidly discussed the difficult impact the alleged unlawful information gathering has had on his life.
Harry claims this intrusions into his private life were carried out by journalists working for Associated Newspapers Limited, the publishers of the Daily Mail.
Prince Harry is part of a group of high-profile claimants, which include Sir Elton John and his husband David Furnish, campaigner Baroness Doreen Lawrence, politician Sir Simon Hughes and actors Sadie Frost and Elizabeth Hurley.
Harry’s claims against Associated Newspapers Limited
These high profile names are bringing legal action against Associated Newspapers Limited (ANL) over allegations of unlawful information gathering.
The claims allege that information for articles was obtained by carrying out or commissioning unlawful activities. These activities included phone tapping and “blagging” private records.
ANL has denied any wrongdoing.
As he stood on the witness stand, Harry admitted to the ‘paranoia’ this ordeal has caused over the years and how it dramatically impacted his relationships.

Harry discussed the pressure it put on his relationship with ex-girlfriend Chelsy Davy.
The prince said he was “really worried something bad was going to happen” during their relationship.
He said in written evidence: “I was never suspicious of Chelsy in relation to stories like this, but I was of her friends. If I saw this story at the time, I would have been very frustrated and angry. This sort of intrusion was terrifying for Chelsy: it made her feel like she was being hunted and the press had caught her and it was terrifying for me too because there was nothing I could do to stop it and now she was in my world.
“She was ‘shaken’ and I was really paranoid about trying to protect our privacy, as the article says.”
