Prince Harry appeared to send a secret message to his brother William during his appearance at court, an expert has claimed.

This week, the Duke of Sussex took to the witness box during a trial in his privacy legal case against the publisher of the Daily Mail. Harry, along with several other celebrity claimants, is suing Associated Newspapers Limited (ANL) over alleged breaches of privacy.

Although Harry is in London for the trial, a reunion with his family members is reportedly not on the cards. However, Harry has seemingly made a subtle gesture at court that could have been a message to estranged brother William.

Prince Harry’s ‘message’ to William in court

This week, the Duke of Sussex gave evidence at London’s High Court. He spoke about his experience with the British press.

Harry is part of a group of high-profile claimants suing ANL for alleged unlawful information gathering methods. The publisher strongly denied the allegations.

While at the trial, Harry looked dapper as he rocked a navy suit with a burgundy and navy tie.

However, the last time Harry wore this item was back in 2017, when big brother Prince William wore a matching one at the Canadian National Vimy Memorial.

And according to a fashion expert, there could be a significant reason behind Harry’s fashion choice.

Harry ‘subtly reaching out’ to William

“The royals wear a carefully curated wardrobe that is meticulously planned out ahead of every occasion,” said Hello Magazine’s Fashion and Beauty Editor, Laura Sutcliffe.

She added: “Although the royal men do tend to wear a fail-safe formal suit, there is still thought behind it. Harry wearing a tie that he wore alongside his brother could be an attempt to subtly reach out to him.

“It shows how special their union once was, and perhaps he is hoping to ignite it.”

William and Kate in Scotland

While Harry has been in court this week, brother William and his wife, Princess Catherine, headed up to Scotland for a series of royal engagements.

First, they went to the National Curling Academy where they went head-to-head playing the sport. Up next was the Radical Wavers, a tartan-weaving studio.

Their final stop was the Gothenburg pub in Fallin, a former mining village that is located four miles east of Stirling.

During this visit, William and Catherine faced a heckler. He was heard shouting: “How long have you known about Andrew and Epstein?”

The comment referred to William’s uncle, Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor. Andrew has faced intense scrutiny in recent months over his association with Jeffrey Epstein.

Andrew has also faced sexual assault allegations, which he always vehemently denied.
