Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor reportedly feels concerned over the impact his scandal could have on his daughters, Princess Eugenie and Princess Beatrice.

Andrew has dominated headlines in recent months over his links to late convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein. The scrutiny has resulted in him being stripped of his royal titles and honours.

The former prince has also faced allegations of sexual assault by the late Virginia Giuffre, an alleged victim of Epstein’s. Andrew has always vehemently denied the allegations.

Now, according to a sources, Andrew’s “main concern” when it comes to his daughters has been revealed…

Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor’s ‘main concern’ over Princess Eugenie and Beatrice

Speaking to the Daily Mail‘s Richard Eden, one insider claimed: “Andrew’s main concern is that his daughters are not tainted by his difficulties, so he is keeping his distance from them.

“Bea and Eug feel very sorry for their parents. They are keeping in touch with them and making sure they’re OK. Both Andrew and Sarah want their daughters to remain part of the royal family and were happy for them to spend Christmas in Norfolk.”

Royal Insider has contacted reps for Andrew for comment.

It comes after reports claimed that Andrew and his ex-wife, Sarah Ferguson, had struck up a “deal” over their daughters. Sarah, too, has faced scrutiny over her ties to Epstein.

Andrew and Sarah’s ‘deal’ over their daughters

“Everything now is about the daughters,” royal author Andrew Lownie told Marie Claire.

He went on to claim that Beatrice and Eugenie “have been passed the baton” in terms of carrying on “their royal status”.

Lownie added: “The deal is parents will fall on their swords as long as the daughters are taken care of.”

Andrew’s main concern is that his daughters are not tainted by his difficulties.

Recently, reports claimed that Andrew and Sarah’s youngest daughter, Eugenie, has “cut off” her father amid the scandal surrounding him.

An insider told Mail on Sunday: “There is no contact at all, nothing. Beatrice is trying to walk the fine line of not cutting her father off and yet remaining close with the royal family.

“They aren’t exactly in regular and close contact at the moment, but Eugenie isn’t trying to walk that line. She’s not speaking to him.”

Andrew to leave Royal Lodge

Amid all of this, Andrew will soon leave his Windsor home, Royal Lodge, as the scrutiny rumbles on. Last October, Buckingham Palace announced that Andrew would leave the sprawling property as well as be stripped of his prince title and Duke of York honour.

His brother, King Charles, had initiated the process of having Andrew’s titles removed.

Meanwhile, Andrew will reportedly move to the king’s Sandringham Estate.
