Royal fans gush 'too cute' as Princess Kate spotted 'twinning' with her assistant in 'near-identical' outfits

Princess Kate has shocked royal fans by rocking a near-identical outfit to her assistant, Natalie Barrows.
It seems the Princess of Wales is even a style icon to her closer circle.

Princess Kate, alongside her husband Prince William, visited the National Curling Academy in Stirling, Scotland, ahead of the Winter Olympic Games and Winter Paralympic Games in Milano-Cortina in February and March.
The Princess of Wales was photographed, on January 20, sporting a long tartan coat.
She headed to Radical Weavers, a working hand-weaving studio and independent charity that is said to help tackle social isolation in Stirling.
The princess flaunted her timeless elegance as she debuted a gorgeous, double-breasted Chris Kerr coat, in a deep blue shade.
Kate expertly complemented her eye-catching outerwear with a Zara roll-neck jumper.
She also wore a plain black skirt by Le Kilt and knee-high boots by Gianvito Rossi.

Princess Kate’s outfit wasn’t the only thing catching the eyes of onlookers.
As she stepped out to greet well-wishers, trailed by her assistant, Natalie, who helped the princess carry gifts handed to her, observers noticed something…
Natalie was also wearing a near-identical blue tartan coat!

Natalie could be seen smiling as she walked behind Kate, whose arms were quickly filled with a large bunch of flowers.
The princess shook hands with several of those gathered and at one point even exclaimed: “Oh my gosh! That is a long way to travel,” as one fan told her where they had travelled from.

She could be heard saying in footage shared to social media by Kings Guard Tours: “Thank you very much for travelling to see us,” as she smiled at the crowd.
Natalie could also be heard saying: “I’ll take care of them for you,” as she claimed a card and more flowers from Kate, who continued to greet royal observers lined up to catch a glimpse of the royal.
At one point, a very polite Princess Kate could be seen claiming yet another bouquet, shaking hands with a well-wisher and sweetly enquiring: “Are you local to the area?”
Social media users, unsurprisingly, flocked to the comments to point out Kate and Natalie’s seemingly coordinated outfits and compliment Kate’s ensemble.

“How lovely. Matching and so beautiful,” said one and another pointed out: “Her assistant wearing a similar coat!”
“Too cute,” chimed in another.
“You telling me that’s not deliberate,” quipped a fourth.
A fourth gushed: “Brilliant idea! Her assistant is easily identified! Catherine is so lovely!”
“Both look lovely,” added a sixth.
Another praised: “She is brilliant so down to earth no airs and graces, love her.”

Natalie has been Kate’s assistant since 2017. She was originally taken on by Kensington Palace as assistant private secretary to the then-Duchess of Cambridge.
