Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor hit with fresh nightmare as locals near his new Sandringham home lash out
'No one wants him'Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor has been hit with a fresh blow regarding his reported new home, Marsh Farm, on the Sandringham Estate.
The former prince, 66, is in the process of leaving his home, Royal Lodge. He is expected to move to Marsh Farm on the Sandringham Estate this spring.
It comes after he lost his royal titles and honours last year amid scrutiny over his association with late convicted sex offender, Jeffrey Epstein. Andrew also faced allegations of sexual assault by the late Virginia Giuffre, an alleged victim of Epstein’s.
Andrew has always vehemently denied the accusations.

Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor hit with fresh blow
Andrew’s reported new home is deep in the Sandringham Estate, some two miles west of Sandringham House, where the king stays during his visits to Norfolk.
Nearby is the village of Wolferton, which has between 40 and 50 homes. And, it seems, some locals not happy that the disgraced royal will be moving into the neighbourhood soon.
Speaking to the Daily Express, one local allegedly fumed: “I just want to say that I think Andrew is an absolute disgrace. We live among the royals, and everyone is very respectful of that. With the greatest respect to the royal family, I think it will spoil the village. I’m disappointed that he’s been moved within the village when the Crown Estate has other places. They could’ve put him somewhere away from the village.”

‘He’s going to be bored and isolated’
The local continued. “There are going to be a lot of reporters and paparazzi, whereas this has always been such a quiet, private, peaceful place. We got a taste of it when the [late] Queen died. It’s going to change life around here, and I’m not the only one who feels that way,” they reportedly said.
Another local apparently believes that the royal will be “bored” at Marsh Farm.
They told the publication: “He’s going to be a bit bored and isolated, I’d have thought. I don’t think it’ll do his health much good. The fact he won’t have Fergie to be a regular support will really have an effect on him.”
An ex-staff member at Sandringham also explained that locals are worried about the “traffic” that Andrew’s move could bring.
Another local said that someone with Andrew’s reputation may find it difficult to integrate into the village.
As another local bluntly put it: “No one wants him.”
Other locals believe Andrew will just “disappear” after his reported move to Marsh Farm.

Andrew’s new home
Earlier this month, royal fans got a better glimpse at Andrew’s alleged new home.
Located on the Sandringham Estate, Marsh Farm is a five-bedroom home. It marks a significant downgrade for the royal, who has been living in the Royal Lodge, which features 30 rooms, seven of which are bedrooms.
At the end of 2025, a no-fly zone over the Sandringham Estate was reportedly extended to include Marsh Farm.
It was reported last month that significant renovation work was needed on the property’s kitchen and reception rooms.
Earlier this month, six-foot-high security fences reportedly sprung up around the property. Sky engineers were also seen at the property, presumably installing Sky TV.
Workers were also seen installing security lights on the walls of the property.
It’s believed that a team of six has been toiling through the cold and wet weather this week to get the property ready for the former duke’s move. According to reports, he is expected to be moving in by Easter.
Despite reports, Andrew’s new home hasn’t been confirmed.
