Are Patrick J. Adams and Meghan Markle still friends after Suits?

The Duchess of Sussex played Rachel Zane on Suits for seven seasons. She left the show in late 2017, with her final episode airing in April 2018. Patrick played her love interest on the show.

Meghan gave up her acting career when she got engaged to Prince Harry. The pair married in May 2018 at St George’s Chapel at Windsor Castle.

Patrick attended Meghan and Harry’s nuptials. The actor previously delved into his friendship with Meghan after she married into the royal family.

I have no doubt I could pick up the phone and call her at any moment.

In an interview with Radio Times back in 2020, Patrick revealed he still had Meghan’s number. However, he admitted he was too “scared” to contact her.

“I have no doubt I could pick up the phone and call her at any moment, but I don’t know what I would say,” he confessed. “After our children were born, there were some texts sent and gifts sent, but I guess I’m a little scared.”

He added: “I think it’s pure fear. I guess I’m scared about the idea of breaking through whatever walls exist to have that conversation.”

Last year, the Duchess of Sussex made a return to her acting roots for the first time since quitting royal life.

She’s set to appear in the upcoming Amazon MGM Studios film Close Personal Friends, starring Brie Larson, Lily Collins, Jack Quaid, and Henry Golding.

“It was great,” Meghan recently gushed to Variety about the experience. “It was a lot of fun. But that’s just the point, right? We continue to explore different ways to uplift and celebrate the entertainment industry and all the incredible pieces of work that are out there.”
