'Frustrated' Kim Kardashian 'reveals social separation' from Meghan Markle in new interview, claims expert
Kim and sister Khloé addressed the drama involving the duchessKim and Khloé Kardashian recently addressed that “photogate” drama involving Meghan Markle on a new podcast interview.
Reality TV star Kim, 45, appeared on the latest episode of her sister Khloé’s podcast, Khloé in Wonder Land. During the episode, the sisters addressed the drama surrounding their famous family and the Duke and Duchess of Sussex.
Last November, the internet went into meltdown after Kim and her mother, Kris Jenner, removed photos of Meghan and her husband, Prince Harry, partying at Kris’ 70th birthday bash.

What did Kim and Khloé Kardashian say about Meghan Markle ‘photogate’?
In November 2025, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex attended Kardashian/Jenner matriarch Kris’ James Bond-themed birthday party in Beverly Hills.
Following the bash, photos were shared on social media by the family. Some of these included Harry and Meghan. However, shortly after, the images of the royal couple at the party disappeared, sparking much speculation online.
Until now, the story hasn’t been explained fully. But this week, on Khloé’s podcast, Kim finally addressed what actually happened.
After Khloé brought up the topic of Meghan “photogate”, Kim replied: “It was really innocent. Which is so crazy. Mum and Meghan have been friends for some years now. And they have a really sweet relationship.
“We took a photo. And then I think we were all going through them. We’re all communicating about what we’re going to post. We’re never ones to post without permission. It’s not who we are.”

‘We took them down to respect Remembrance Day’
She added: “After it was posted, I think they realised it was Remembrance Day, and they didn’t want to be seen at a party. Even though it’s already up, you know.”
Remembrance Day is held annually on November 11. It’s a day of reflection for those who have served and died in war.
Kim’s tone becomes partly recitative as though frustrated by the fuss.
Khloé also brought up that Harry and Meghan had earlier attended the Baby2Baby Gala before heading to Kris’ party. But, Kim replied: “Well, it’s like a charity event.
“So, like, that was fine. But maybe not partying and dancing on the dance floor or whatever. So we took them down to respect Remembrance Day.”

Kim’s ‘frustration’ over ‘photogate’ drama
Now, body language expert Judi James has weighed in on the reality stars discussing the drama.
Speaking to the Daily Mail, Judi said: “The implications about their true feelings come from both their paralanguage, in other words, their choices of words, tone, and body language, with Khloé appearing to be more open in her cynical-looking responses.”
She added of Kim’s response to the topic that the star’s “tone becomes partly recitative as though frustrated by the fuss”.
Judi added: “Kim seems to define some degrees of social separation by referring to their relationship with Meghan as: ‘Mom and Meghan have been friends for some years now,’ rather than calling her ‘Our friend.’ When they discussed the issue with Remembrance Day, they mentioned the photo was ‘already up’, and Khloe added a mention of a Baby2Baby event ‘right before’, although Kim reminded her that it was a charity event.

“There is a hint of cynicism or even disapproval from Khloé here as she runs a hand across her eyebrows then through her hair in a dismissive-looking power-preening gesture, looking away as though pondering reflectively, while Kim adds a ‘whatever’ to sound dismissive as though the subject is closed.”
