King Charles' Sandringham Estate shares job listing as Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor 'moves to new home'

The sprawling estate in Norfolk is His Majesty’s country retreat and the royal family often spend time there, including Christmas. Due to the grounds being open to the public, Sandringham also welcomes over 500,000 visitors each year.
And if you fancy rubbing shoulders with royalty, it turns out you can, as the estate is looking to hire a new “skilled and passionate chef”…
How to work at King Charles’ Sandringham Estate
A new job advertisement has gone live on the Sandringham estate’s website. The team are looking for a “skilled and passionate chef to join our culinary team”.
It added: “There will be a requirement to assist the Head Chef in menu engineering and concept development. Therefore will need to have a knowledge of, and interest in, many different styles of food and service.”

As well as preparing “high-quality meals”, the successful candidate will also be responsible for displaying the “highest standards of service” and maintaining kitchen standards.
The listing also says the chef must be a “team player with strong communication and time management skills”. They also need to have a “calm approach to dealing with complaints and disputes”.
The rota runs from Monday to Sunday. However, some Sunday, evening and bank holiday work is also required.
As for the salary, the role’s salary is not publicly listed.
Andrew’s move to Sandringham Estate
It comes after Charles’ brother Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor has temporarily moved into Wood Farm Cottage on the Sandringham Estate. The disgraced royal was forced to leave Royal Lodge in Windsor this year amid renewed scrutiny over his links to late convicted sex offender, Jeffrey Epstein.
And while his permanent new home Marsh Farm undergoes renovations, Andrew is staying at the Sandringham Estate.
What’s more, following his move to Sandringham, staff have reportedly been given permission not to serve him if they don’t feel comfortable. According to The Sun, there is already “quite a list” of staff who’ve made it clear they don’t want to serve him.
The insider claimed: “They’ve been told they don’t have to serve Andrew or work for him if they feel uncomfortable. There is already quite a list saying no thanks. There is understandably a lot of disquiet as he is now a total pariah.
“But there is also a worry that once he gets comfortable at Wood Farm while Marsh Farm is being finished, they will never get him out again.”
