The 2026 Super Bowl LX took place at the weekend, and it seems Mike Tindall made a discreet appearance at the event.

The game took place on Sunday, February 8 at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, California. It saw the Seattle Seahawks take victory over the New England Patriots.

But, in the stands was a member of the royal family. Zara Tindall’s husband, Mike, reportedly attended the game on Sunday.

Former pro rugby player Mike shared a selfie from the game on his Instagram Story.

The photo, obtained by PEOPLE, shows Mike and a friend wearing foam football helmets as they watched the game.

Super Bowl is a major annual event in the United States. In February 2022, Prince Harry was seen at the Super Bowl LVI at SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles.

He attended alongside his cousin, Princess Eugenie.

The pair were seen sitting in the stands whilst wearing face masks, following the COVID-19 pandemic.

Prince Harry’s thoughts on the Super Bowl

Speaking in March last year, the Duke of Sussex opened up about the Super Bowl. He admitted he was a bigger fan of American football since moving to the US.

Harry moved to America in early 2020 with his wife, Meghan Markle, and their son, Prince Archie. It came after the couple quit their senior royal duties, in a bid to become “financially independent”.

Since moving to the US, the couple have embarked on many projects and welcomed their daughter, Princess Lilibet, in June 2021.

At an event last year, Harry said: “Having living here, I have got into American Football more than I probably should, especially Super Bowl – who doesn’t love a good Super Bowl?”

Harry’s apology over baseball game

It seems Prince Harry and his wife, Meghan, are also big fans of baseball.

Last November, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex attended game four of the 2025 MLB (Major League Baseball) World Series at Dodger Stadium, where the Los Angeles Dodgers faced off against the Toronto Blue Jays.

They were seen wearing LA Dodgers hats as they cheered and immersed themselves in the game. But Harry’s choice of hat upset some in Canada, which is a Commonwealth nation that his father King Charles is head of state of.

During an appearance in Canada following the game, Harry made an apology.

Speaking to CTV News, Harry joked: “Firstly, I would like to apologise to Canada for wearing it. Secondly, I was under duress. There wasn’t much choice,” revealing he was invited to the game by the Dodgers’ owner.

Harry said he thought wearing the team’s hat was “the polite thing to do”.
