Prince Harry’s ‘awkward’ encounter with Hollywood star Neve Campbell over bedroom décor

No stranger to rubbing shoulders with famous people, actress Neve Campbell recalled meeting Prince Harry for the first time.

Neve shot to fame in the ’90s thanks to roles in hit movies like The Craft and the horror film franchise, Scream.

That’s a little awkward.

On an episode of The Jonathan Ross Show, to air this weekend, Neve revealed: “I went to a friend’s birthday party and someone said, ‘There’s Harry,’ I said, ‘Harry who?’ [They said], ‘Prince Harry.'”

During their chat, Harry spoke about his childhood admiration for Neve.

She said: “We did have a chat. He told me that he had a poster of me on his wall when he was a child. That’s a little awkward.”

‘It was very odd’

The Sydney Prescott actress went on. “I don’t know if that was a line. It could have been a line. We had a dance, we had a nice time. We didn’t exchange numbers or anything.”

Neve went on to describe Harry as “really lovely”.

Sharing more about their conversation she said: “He started talking about his grandmother and we were chatting and then I realised who he was talking about and it was very odd.”

Prince Harry’s childhood home

Prince William and Prince Harry were raised in Apartments 8 and 9 in Kensington Palace. Renowned interior designer Dudley Popak was reportedly recruited to turn the property into a luxurious home for the family.

On the top floor, the residence featured an enormous playroom and two bedrooms. Downstairs, there was a huge drawing room and a living room that also doubled as Princess Diana’s working space.

Nowadays, Harry lives in a lush mansion, reportedly worth $29 million, located in the A-list neighbourhood of Montecito, California. He moved into the property in 2020 with wife Meghan Markle and the pair raise their two children Archie and Lilibet there.

Harry and Meghan’s mansion

Harry and Meghan’s mansion has its own private road and large security gates. Their neighbours reportedly include the likes of Jennifer Aniston, Oprah Winfrey and Katy Perry.

Talking about how they fell in love with the property straight away, Megan previously told The Cut: “We did everything we could to get this house.

“Because you walk in and go… Joy. And exhale. And calm. It’s healing. You feel free.”

As for how much the mammoth property is said to be worth, Zillow estimates $29 million, and claims it has doubled in value compared to the reported $14.65 million the duke and duchess spent on the mansion.
