Meghan Markle’s Valentine’s Day admission
Writing on her now-defunct blog, The Tig, Meghan, then 33, spoke of her love of Valentine’s Day.
“Hook, line, and sinker, I am such a sucker for Valentine’s Day,” she reportedly wrote at the time.
“Without fail, every February 14th, I wake up feeling like I’m immersed in a Robert Doisneau photo, waiting with bated breath to be dipped into a kiss.”
“This is all happening in black and white, of course. And in Paris, if I had my way. But delusions of francophile grandeur aside, Valentine’s Day is special wherever you happen to find yourself. And in terms of gifts, be it breakfast in bed, a sweet love note, or a single flower, it really is the thought that counts,” she then added.

Meghan’s sweet Valentine’s post for Harry
Last year saw Meghan share a sweet post to celebrate Valentine’s Day alongside her husband, Prince Harry.
Taking to her Instagram account on Valentine’s Day 2025, Meghan shared an unseen snap of herself and Harry.
The black and white photo shows the smiling couple sharing a kiss whilst out having dinner.
“Back home taking care of our babies, and missing my Valentine, as he continues on at the Invictus Games, changing lives and reminding all of us of the power of healing and resilience through these incredible veterans and their families. Beyond proud of my husband and what he’s created,” she captioned the heartwarming post.
“My love, I will eat burgers & fries and fish & chips with you forever. Thank you for you. #lovewins As ever, M.”
As Ever brand announces Valentine’s treat
Once again proving her love for Valentine’s Day more recently, Meghan announced a new Valentine’s Day treat via her lifestyle brand, As Ever.
The duchess shared the news on As Ever’s Instagram page, which boasts close to 900k followers last week.
Meghan shared a picture of herself in a white dress, with her face obscured by a string of big red balloons.
Tied to the bottom of the string is a jar of jam.
“A sweet surprise!” the caption of the post reads.

The Sweetheart Bundle includes the brand’s Signature Chocolate Collection, created in collaboration with Compartés chocolate. It also features As Ever’s raspberry and strawberry spreads.
The bundle costs $92 (around £67).
