Palace insiders think it is 'time to turn the page': Prince William 'could be King' within the next six to twelve months
A big change could be on the horizon
Palace insiders are said to be ready for King Charles to hand over his crown to Prince William.
And the change is predicted to come about in the next year…
Prince William could take over from King Charles very soon
This news comes amid swirling speculation of panic within the palace as scrutiny has been stacking against King Charles and his handling of the jaw-dropping Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor scandal.
People within palace walls are said to be gearing up for King Charles to shift off the throne and crown Prince William instead.
Royal insider Rob Shuter has appeared alongside journalist Maureen Callahan to discuss King Charles’s future as our monarch – and things don’t exactly look good for Charles.
During the most recent instalment of The Nerve with Maureen Callahan, Rob Shuter, a former spokesman for Princess Michael of Kent, has spoken up about what could happen next in the royal sphere.
And if all pans out as he predicts, King Charles could be kissing goodbye to his role as king very soon.
Rob alleged: “My sources in the palace are strong – I was the publicist for Princess Michael of Kent. I have worked for the Royal Family. I got a cheque from them, I got a monthly retainer from them.”

Palace insiders think Prince William should be king sooner rather than later
He also discussed how his recent bombshell claims that King Charles could be edging towards abdication were backed up by palace insiders.
“I am told within the palace, ‘Your bombshell piece saying Charles should abdicate was read within the palace, and a lot of people agree with you. It’s time to turn the page.’ We have spoken about it before, Maureen…”
Rob also believe that the shifting of power between King Charles and Prince William could come about very quickly.
“He’s already the King. He’s the acting King in all but name.”
King Charles’s next Prince Harry move
Shuter also claimed that King Charles could have some surprising plans for Prince Harry.
The monarch is allegedly considering giving Royal Lodge to Prince Harry for him to use, following Andrew’s exit.
Apparently, Prince William isn’t willing to “fight” with his father about this, despite his ongoing feud with Prince Harry.
Shuter explained that Prince William is dealing with “much bigger issues”.

Earlier this week, other sources emerged with some pretty damning abdication predictions that don’t bode well for King Charles.
The monarchy is enduring a big shake up as speculation swirls
“If the monarchy is to survive, there is only one solution: King Charles must go,” one columnist recently penned, as per Closer.
And former royal butler Paul Burrell chimed in: “The monarchy has to be bigger than any one person. So, it’s in safe hands if it goes to William.”
A source also told the publication: “There’s a feeling of panic behind palace walls right now. It feels like the hounds are at the door because more and more people are saying this could spell the end of the public’s support for the Crown. It does seem like the gates are just opening and that more and more is going to come out. He’s now being accused of bringing a woman who was being trafficked by Epstein in and out of the Palace, right under the Queen’s nose. It’s hard to fathom that she wouldn’t have been made aware. And Charles too.”

Meghan Markle could be ready for a comeback
Elsewhere, an insider reportedly also told Rob Shuter that Meghan Markle could be ready for a UK comeback.
The royals are really having a shake up lately…
He claimed: “She wants to show the British public what they threw away. It’s not anger — it’s confidence.”
Meanwhile, another source apparently said: “She’s not going back quietly. If she returns, it will be on her terms.”
Buckingham Palace and Kensington Palace have been contacted for comment.
