Worrying reason King Charles is 'nervous' about 'pampered' brother Andrew amid Epstein scandal
The king has taken action against his brother in recent monthsKing Charles may be “nervous” about his brother, Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor, and what his next moves could be, a royal commentator has suggested.
Last October, the king, 77, initiated a formal process to have his brother’s royal titles and honours stripped. It came as Andrew, 66, was under intense scrutiny regarding his past association with late convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein. Andrew had also faced sexual assault allegations, which he vehemently denied.
At the time, Andrew was also ordered to leave his Royal Lodge home in Windsor.
Fast forward to early February this year and Andrew left Royal Lodge. He moved to the king’s Sandringham Estate. Days later, he was arrested on suspicion of misconduct in public office. Hours after his arrest, police released him under investigation.
The allegation of misconduct is believed to relate to claims which emerged in the release of the Epstein files in January. Within these files, released by the US Department of Justice, emails allegedly showed Andrew appearing to share confidential and sensitive information with Epstein in 2010 during his role as UK’s trade envoy.

Why King Charles may feel ‘nervous’ over Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor
Now, royal commentator Kinsey Schofield has suggested King Charles is “nervous” over his brother.
Speaking on TalkTV, Kinsey said: “Andrew knows what was going on behind the scenes during [Charles’] Diana divorce. God knows what he knows that we don’t know that wouldn’t be a positive reflection on the house of Windsor.
“[Andrew] could write a book if he wanted to and he’d make an ungodly amount of money. So I do think ultimately that is why the king is nervous about him and still gives him almost everything he asks for.

What did King Charles say about Andrew’s arrest?
Despite those claims, King Charles hasn’t shied away from sharing his stance on the scandal surrounding Andrew.
After Andrew’s arrest on February 19, the king issued a statement via Buckingham Palace. It read: “I have learned with the deepest concern the news about Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor and suspicion of misconduct in public office.
God knows what he knows that we don’t know that wouldn’t be a positive reflection on the house of Windsor.
“What now follows is the full, fair and proper process by which this issue is investigated in the appropriate manner and by the appropriate authorities.
“In this, as I have said before, they have our full and wholehearted support and co-operation. Let me state clearly: the law must take its course.
“As this process continues, it would not be right for me to comment further on this matter. Meanwhile, my family and I will continue in our duty and service to you all.”
Andrew has always denied any wrongdoing in relation to Epstein. His arrest should not be seen as any indication of guilt.
In addition, being named or pictured among the Epstein files is not an indication of wrongdoing.
