Lady Marina Windsor shares glimpse into bachelorette party

Lady Marina Windsor took to social media to share a series of snaps from her bachelorette party, or hen do.

Alongside a group of pals and her sister, Lady Amelia Windsor, Marina headed to the Isle of Sheppey.

The group lived it up on a fun-filled getaway, where they enjoyed group dinners and tipples on the coast.

“Heart bursting with love and gratitude for my magical hens and this spectacular weekend,” she gushed in the caption of the post.

Marina also shared a clip with no audio. In it, she could be seen rocking a veil and pulling pieces of paper out of a pink cowboy hat.

Although Marina looked great in a veil, it is likely she will follow tradition and don a tiara on her big day.

Who is Lady Marina Windsor and how is she related to the royal family?

Lady Marina Windsor is a member of the extended British royal family, as she is the granddaughter of Prince Edward, Duke of Kent.

This makes her a distant cousin of King Charles III.

Marina is the eldest daughter of the Earl and Countess of St Andrews. She is also the older sister of Lady Amelia Windsor.

Unlike senior royals, she does not carry out official duties. Instead, she focuses on her philanthropic work.

Marina is also removed from the line of succession after converting to Roman Catholicism.

This means she is no longer in line to the British throne.

Marina works as Philanthropic Executive at The Big Give and is preparing to wed Nico Macauley, who is an account executive with Zscaler,

According to reports, the couple have been dating for two years.

Lady Marina Windsor’s relationship with the Duke and Duchess of Kent

Marina announced her engagement on June 8 last year, the wedding anniversary of her grandfather and his late wife, Katharine, Duchess of Kent.

Lady Marina is said to be very close with her grandparents and when the Duchess of Kent passed away, she wrote a heartfelt tribute to social media.

“Rest in peace my amazing and beloved Amama, we will miss and love you so much always and thank you to everyone who has sent such kind and touching messages, sending lots of love to all,” she penned.
