Moment Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor 'glowered' at Kate Middleton as she was 'centre of royal fan frenzy'

On one very awkward occasion, Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor reportedly shot Princess Kate Middleton a very unpleasant look.

Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor ‘glowered’ at Kate Middleton
A body language expert has opened up about when Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor “glowered” at Princess Kate Middleton in a surprising move.
Just three months after tying the knot, Princess Kate Middleton and Prince William attended Mike and Zara Tindall’s wedding at Canongate Kirk in Edinburgh, Scotland.
Evidently, Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor was also present.
According to body language expert Judi James, the former prince sported a notably “dour” facial expression.
He was said to have sought to “break into the royal line-up,” as The Firm gathered.
Analysing footage of the royal wedding guests stood outside, Judi James detailed: “Andrew appears to be in fully, socially-opportunistic ‘basking shark’ mode here. Moving from side to side at the back of the royal group.”

She told the Daily Mail that whilst other members of the royal family rocked “appropriate smiles of good-humoured delight on Zara and Mike’s wedding day,” Andrew stood rigidly with his hands clasped.
The then-prince was said to have had a “baleful-looking face,” at the time.
The spotlight was firmly shone on William and Kate at the time, given their recent royal wedding.
Therefore, the other royal family members were pushed to the side.

Andrew was said to have popped “up in different gaps to vie to break into their new star-studded formation where a beaming Kate is the centre of a royal fan frenzy”.
“With newlywed Kate a spectacular star in the line-up and with the very emphatic sound of cheering fans going into a major tizzy as she appears, Andrew and Harry step out as the ‘Spares on the stairs’. Lurking behind three top-tier royal couples like players consigned to the subs’ bench,” explained Judi James.
Judi James also claims that Andrew and the Wales family have shared a strained relationship long before the recent renewed scrutiny on Andrew and his shocking arrest.
In fact, the body language expert believes the animosity between the parties was apparent fifteen years ago!
At one point, during the gathering following Mike and Zara’s nuptials, Andrew was said to have uncomfortably lingered behind Prince William.
It was then he shot a very displeased look at Kate.
The disgraced former prince did manage to engage in fleeting conversation with the other royals, apparently Kate showed her disinterest.
Ultimately, Andrew was stood awkwardly, with a grim expression.
“It is here that we can first see what looks like a glower at a smiling Kate that could, if it is aimed in her direction, singe the flowers on her hat,” James described. “Both William and Sir Timothy Laurence turn to the front though. Leaving Andrew with his chin lowered, his lips clamped, and his brows pulled into a frown. Again appearing to glower in Kate’s direction again.”
Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor’s arrest
In recent years, Andrew has been embroiled in a slew of scandals and speculation. His friendship with the late, convicted sex offender, Jeffrey Epstein triggered alarm bells and the disgraced former prince also faced allegations of sexual assault.
The late Virginia Giuffre alleged she was made to have sex with Andrew on three separate occasions when she was 17. Virginia said she had been trafficked by Epstein. Andrew has always vehemently denied the allegations.
Last year, he was stripped of his royal titles and honours. Then, just last month, he was forced to leave Royal Lodge.
Andrew was recently arrested on suspicion of misconduct in public office.
He has since been released under investigation.
In wake of his arrest King Charles released a statement. He said at the time: “I have learned with the deepest concern the news about Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor and suspicion of misconduct in public office. What now follows is the full, fair and proper process by which this issue is investigated in the appropriate manner and by the appropriate authorities.
“In this, as I have said before, they have our full and wholehearted support and co-operation. Let me state clearly: the law must take its course. As this process continues, it would not be right for me to comment further on this matter.
“Meanwhile, my family and I will continue in our duty and service to you all.”
The Prince and Princess of Wales did not release their own statement. However, they were said to support King Charles’ statement.
