Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor's new life in Sandringham including 'worried' Prince Edward and Sophie 'dinner visit'
The latest as the scandal simmers on
New reports claim Prince Edward and Sophie recently visited Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor’s Sandringham bolthole due to Edward’s concerns for his disgraced brother’s mental health.
Here is everything we know…
Prince Edward’s worries over Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor’s new life at Sandringham
The police inquiry into convicted later sex offender Jeffrey Epstein’s connections with billionaires is ongoing and as new questions arise, Prince Edward is said to be worried for his older brother, Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor.
So much so, he has reportedly braved visiting him at his temporary abode of Wood Farm at Sandringham.
It comes as Andrew was recently released under investigation after his shock arrest in February. Just shortly prior, he had vacated Royal Lodge at Windsor.
In October last year, the palace announced that Andrew’s remaining royal titles and honours would be removed. It came amid renewed scrutiny around his ties to Jeffrey Epstein.

The scrutiny stacked against Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor
For years, Andrew has faced backlash and questions over his links to the disgraced financier. He has also faced allegations of sexual assault.
Virginia Giuffre, who took her own life last April, alleged she was made to have sex with Andrew on three separate occasions in the early 2000s when she was 17 after being trafficked by Epstein.

Andrew always vehemently denied these allegations.
In recent months, Andrew has been laying low.
However, this week, he was spotted in images obtained by the Mirror. He was seen smiling as he drove around the estate on Easter Monday.

Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor’s life at Wood Farm on the Sandringham Estate
Andrew has been residing at Wood Farm on the Sandringham Estate while his new permanent home, Marsh Farm, underwent renovations.
The Sun recently reported that Edward recently visited his brother for a “quiet word” about hurrying up his move to Marsh Farm.
Fresh claims allege that Edward’s visit was actually more like a “brotherly welfare check,” as per the Daily Mail.
Nick Craven for the Mail penned of the scenario: “Those close to Edward describe him as ‘deeply unsettled’ in recent weeks — worried not just by the lurid allegations that have once again engulfed his elder brother, but by fears for Andrew’s mental and physical state as the police inquiry continues.”
Prince Edward and Sophie’s dinner with Andrew
A source claimed to the publication: “Edward and Sophie had dinner with Andrew one night over the weekend and they talked things through. It’s true to say they both feel sorry for Andrew and how far he has fallen and they are worried about his fragile state of mind.
“They do feel for him. But of course that doesn’t excuse his behaviour. It’s a difficult balancing act supporting him while not condoning what he has got involved with. Andrew still maintains has not done anything wrong and thinks he will be vindicated one day. But I think Edward will have tried to talk some sense into him and made it clear his days as a working royal are over.”
Representatives for all parties involved have been contacted for comment.
When questioned about his brother’s scandal, Prince Edward said publicly: “I think it’s all really important, always, to remember the victims and who are the victims in all this”.
Meanwhile, a source alleged to the Mail: “Privately he is still supporting his brother. Both he and Princess Anne are understandably concerned about Andrew’s mental state and what is going to become of him.”
