While rumors say that the royal rift between Prince Harry and William is growing, experts believe that it is not the same scenario when it comes to Harry’s unique relationship with Kate Middleton.

The distance between Prince Harry and other royal members seemingly started when the Duke of Sussex stepped down from his royal duties in 2020. But with Harry releasing his explosive memoir Spare, which makes a lot of shocking claims about his relationship with his brother Prince William, things have gotten much worse, sources close to the royal family have revealed. Amid the growing distance, followers are hoping that Kate Middleton and Harry’s relationship could bridge the gap.

Prince Harry’s true feelings about Kate Middleton – body language expert

A body language expert claims Prince Harry’s true feelings about Kate Middleton were revealed in an interview.

The 39-year-old royal member sat down with British journalist Tom Bradby earlier this year in an interview. He joined him to talk about his book Spare where he calls William his beloved brother and arch-nemesis.

While Harry seemed almost ‘robotic’ when talking about his royal family members, including his ‘loving’ father or brother, body language expert Judi James claims his facial expression changed when he began talking about Kate.

“There was a rather robotic recitation of ‘I love my father, I love my brother, I love my family’ but when he spoke of his father he appeared close to tears,” Judi James claimed.

She added: “His account of growing up with his brother regurgitated signals of fun and loyalty and when Kate’s name was mentioned his features softened and his eyes wrinkled into an affectionate-looking eye-smile.”

Kate Middleton has been the ‘peacemaker’

Kate Middleton is not just the Princess of Wales, she is also the peacemaker when it comes to the royal rift. Sources claim she acted as the mediator between Harry and William in the past. Harry even once called Kate “the sister that he never had.” So with growing tensions between the two brothers, followers are hoping that Kate can be the one who brings them together.

Speaking of the current issue where William and Harry’s relationship is clearly topsy-turvy, insiders close to the couple have different views. They say that the Duchess of Cambridge also felt ‘hurt‘ by Harry’s claims and may never extend the olive branch again.

“Catherine has played the peacemaker in the past and has brought William and Harry together, and I think that comes from her own family, and their values. But I think she has got to a stage whereby she has had to take a step back, things have gone too far, and she feels upset and, quite frankly, hurt and insulted,” former BBC royal correspondent Jennie Bond said.

“I think Catherine and William have jointly decided that they will carry on with family life and work, and for most of the time, they don’t think about Harry very much, and I expect vice versa. I can’t see an olive branch being extended from either side any time soon,” Bond added.
