Royal faced ‘bullying’ allegations

Back in 2018, Jason Knauf, Harry and Meghan Markle’s former press secretary, made a complaint about the duchess’ behaviour, alleging there were claims of bullying.

He claimed that Meghan’s “bullying” behaviour had made two palace aides quit, and “undermined” the confidence of a third.

The allegations prompted Buckingham Palace to launch an investigation into her behaviour. However, the review has remained private with no findings or statement released to the public.

Meghan has always denied any accusations of bullying behaviour.

Earlier this year, Vanity Fair magazine published an article in which they alleged that Meghan “bullied” staff members on her podcast, Archetypes. The Duchess has not made a public comment over the Vanity Fair article.

Royal Insider has approached representatives for the Duchess of Sussex for comment.

Former palace Jason Knauf aide speaks out on Meghan Markle ‘bullying’ allegations

Over the weekend, the former aide in question, Jason Knauf, spoke to 60 Minutes Australia about working with the royals.

He also addressed the allegations made against the Duchess of Sussex.

“I think it’s tough, but it’s probably quite good. You know someone who has been helping other people through how to deal with the public eye. You probably had to take your own medicine sometimes,” he said.

He then added: “You can’t choose just to take the fun stuff in any job. And that applies to the Prince and Princess [of Wales] as well as everyone else working for them. So I wouldn’t change anything.”

When asked if he had any regrets from his time working with the royals, he said: “No, it’s not what I would’ve sought, but you know, at the end of the day, you get to do an amazing job. You’ve got to take everything that comes with it.”

Jason also wished Harry and Meghan the “very best”. “We had lots of great times, working on their wedding was an amazing magical experience and I wish them absolutely all the best with their lovely family,” he said.

Meghan accused of ‘copying’ brand logo

Meghan is currently embroiled in some drama regarding her business, As Ever.

The Duchess of Sussex’s new venture has been accused of copying the brand’s logo from the coat of arms of Porreres in Majorca, Spain.

Both designs feature a palm tree and a bird either side. However, the colours are different as is the type of birds used.

Francisca Mora Veny, the mayor of Porreres, told MailOnline: “We are still a bit shocked, we thought it was fake news at first, we didn’t know what was happening. Then loads of newspapers and media started calling us and we realised it was serious.”

She then called for Meghan’s team to change the logo.
