The ‘real reason’ why Meghan Markle and Prince Harry are sharing more glimpses of their kids has seemingly been revealed.

However, a royal expert has warned the royal pair about the future privacy of their children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet.

Meghan Markle shares glimpses of kids Archie and Lilibet on Instagram and her website

In recent weeks, Meghan, 43, has given royal fans glimpses of her young children, Prince Archie, five, and Princess Lilibet, three.

The glimpses have come via her new business, As Ever, and her new Instagram account, which currently has 2.1 million followers.

The front page of As Ever’s official website features a picture of Meghan and Lilibet skipping through the outdoors in the sunshine.

Meghan has also shared videos of her kids on Instagram recently.

One shared on Valentine’s Day (February 14) showed Meghan, Archie, and Lilibet making Valentine-themed bagels with strawberries and cream.

On Sunday (February 23), Meghan also shared a video of herself and one of the kids watering some plants in the garden.

Why Meghan and Harry ‘fiercely protect’ their children

Whilst it is sweet to see Meghan and Harry’s children in these various glimpses, one royal commentator has issued the couple with a warning. Royal correspondent Jennie Bond made the remarks during an interview with the Mirror recently.

A real danger that paparazzi will follow them until they get what they want.

“They are clearly fiercely protective of their children. And I think much of that stems from Harry’s experience of having cameras trained on him when he was a little boy – and ever since,” she said.

Harry and Meghan warned of ‘real danger’ over glimpses of their kids

“He showed his contempt for the cameras when he was very young, sticking his tongue out, as he sat in the back of a car with his mother. She told him to stop it very quickly! Of course, seeing only glimpses of them makes them even more interesting to the public. And it brings extra attention to whichever video they appear in, which is commercially valuable,” she then continued.

Jennie then explained a “real danger” the couple could face.

“Sooner or later, they are bound to release pictures of the children. Otherwise, there’s a real danger that paparazzi will follow them until they get what they want – in the hope that a newspaper or magazine somewhere in the world will buy the pictures,” she then added.

Why Harry and Meghan don’t show their kids’ faces

Unlike some other members of the royal family, Harry and Meghan have decided to keep Archie and Lilibet’s faces out of the spotlight as much as they can.

An insider previously spoke about this decision and suggested why the couple does this.

An insider told PEOPLE in August last year: “Harry has been reluctant to show his children publicly. Not out of a desire to hide them but to protect their privacy and safety from potential threats.”

“He wants them to lead as normal a life as possible without the fear of kidnapping or harm. As a dad and husband, Harry is determined to ensure that history doesn’t repeat itself,” they added. This seemingly refers to the tragic death of Harry’s mother Princess Diana in 1997.

Paparazzi often chased Diana following her split from King Charles in the early ’90s.
