Donald Trump 'doesn't want a war with the Royal Family' over Prince Harry's visa records
Trump has previously been very outspoken about deporting HarryDonald Trump vowed he is going to leave Prince Harry alone over his visa documents. This is despite previously vowing to have the duke deported.
Now, a royal expert has weighed in on why he thinks the president won’t pursue the duke – despite his redacted visa records being made public.

Donald Trump vowed to leave Prince Harry alone
Since the release of Harry’s book, Spare, Donald Trump has been very outspoken on his opinion of the Duke of Sussex.
The president was of the opinion that if Harry had lied about his drug use in his visa application, he should be deported.
However, after being elected president, the 78-year-old has had something of a change of heart.
Trump has now decided that he won’t deport Harry, even if he has lied about his drug use.
“I don’t want to do that, I’ll leave him alone,” he told the New York Post recently.
“He’s got enough problems with his wife. She’s terrible.”
The president doesn’t seem to have changed his stance since – even following the release of Harry’s – albeit heavily redacted – visa documents.

Donald Trump ‘doesn’t want a war’ with the royals
Now, royal expert Richard Fitzwilliam has weighed in on why he thinks Trump has changed his mind on deporting Harry.
“Donald Trump does not want a battle with a member of the Royal Family. It would be appealed through the courts and it would have a huge amount of publicity,” he told GB News.
“He values his trips in 2018 and 2019. He values his links with the Royal Family,” he then continued.
“Harry is still fifth in line to the throne and is still a member of the Royal Family, that is why Trump does not want that [battle],” he then added.
Trump will become the first elected political leader in modern times to be hosted for two state visits by a British monarch. The PM, Keir Starmer, delivered the invitation in the form of a letter from the king during a White House press conference recently.

Americans fume at Trump over Commonwealth comment
Earlier this week, Donald Trump made a comment that rubbed Americans up the wrong way – and it was about the Commonwealth.
According to reports, the king is keen to offer the US a place in the Commonwealth. According to a source at Royal Commonwealth Society that the prospect of America making entry into the Commonwealth is “being discussed at the highest levels”. It’s believed it would symbolise a close relationship between the two nations.
Trump seems up for it, posting an article about the rumours on the social media platform, Truth Social.
“Sounds good to me!” he wrote.
However, it doesn’t sound so good to some Americans.
Radio host and conspiracy theorist, Alex Jones, has been sharing videos reacting to the news, claiming a civil war would erupt if it meant King Charles was the head of the US government. And some of his fans are in agreement.
“Not gonna happen. This is Trump’s America, he would never hand anything American over to king Charles,” one fumed.
Time will tell if this does come to pass…
