‘Feisty’ Princess Charlotte is following Princess Anne's footsteps as Queen Elizabeth II resemblance 'uncanny'
Charlotte recently celebrated her 10th birthday!

Princess Charlotte is being compared to two of her most respected relatives, great-aunt Princess Anne and her late great-grandmother, Queen Elizabeth II.
Here is why Princess Charlotte holds an “uncanny” similarity to her late great-grandmother and the Princess Royal…

Princess Charlotte’s similarities with Princess Anne and Queen Elizabeth II
Last week, the Prince and Princess of Wales’ daughter turned 10. To mark the milestone, a snap taken by Princess Kate was shared to the couple’s official social media.
The photo gave royal fans a glimpse into the life of Princess Charlotte.
The candid snap showed a sporty and adventurous Charlotte enjoying the outdoors. She could be seen wearing a camouflage waterproof jacket and a backpack, whilst sat in the grass.
Charlotte looked windswept but was beaming as her mother captured the moment.
Royal expert Phil Dampier has now weighed in on the photo. He has even explained a string of Charlotte’s traits that are very similar to her royal relatives.
Phil Dampier told Hello! that despite her youth, Charlotte “has been a great source of strength” for her mother Kate during her cancer treatment.
He went on to describe how the young princess holds maturity like her late great-grandmother, Queen Elizabeth II.
She is also said to boast a feistiness like her great-aunt, Princess Anne.
She’s a kind soul with a reputation for being feisty.
Phil said: “Winston Churchill once said of Queen Elizabeth that he had never seen such maturity in a child so young, and Charlotte seems to have inherited that trait from her great-grandmother, to whom she bears an uncanny resemblance. I’m told that Charlotte has also inherited from the late Queen a brilliant ability to mimic prominent figures.
“She’s a kind soul with a reputation for being feisty and keeping her brothers under control.”
Princess Charlotte’s love of the outdoors
Not only does Charlotte share a resemblance with her late great-grandmother, she is also said to be adventurous.
Queen Elizabeth II was also said to not have been afraid to get her hands dirty in her younger years.

Elizabeth II adored the outdoors and even served in the Auxiliary Territorial Service during the Second World War.
“Charlotte certainly looks ready for action; it’s great to see her looking so informal and relaxed, and clearly having a wonderful time,” added Hello!’s royal editor Emily Nash chimed in. “I think Charlotte looks a lot like Prince William here, but she also reminds me of the late Queen, who loved spending time out walking, riding and shooting.”

Dampier also added that Charlotte is a “strong character,” like the Princess Royal and often keeps her brothers in check… just like Princess Anne does.
