Meghan Markle under fire for 'narcissistic' decision on wedding anniversary with Prince Harry
Harry and Meghan marked seven years of marriage on May 19Meghan Markle has been accused of being “narcissistic” over the manner she marked her seventh wedding anniversary with Prince Harry.
Earlier this week the Duchess of Sussex shared a snap of a pinboard on Instagram which contained photos from throughout her and Prince Harry’s time together as a couple.
“Seven years of marriage. A lifetime of stories,” Meghan captioned the upload, going on to thank those “who have loved and supported us throughout our love story”.

How Meghan Markle celebrated her wedding anniversary
The post also included several images of their children Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet which have never been seen before.
Among the intimate pics on display was heartwarming shot of Prince Harry cradling a baby Prince Archie. And pics included a baby scan, and Prince Archie kissing his little sister on the forehead nearby to a Christmas tree.
Handwritten lyrics from Ben E King’s song Stand by Me were also evident. But despite sight of the touching memories thrilling followers, one royal expert believes Meghan has been too extravagant.

‘Cringeworthy’ Meghan and Harry wedding anniversary post
Appearing on The Sun’s Royal Exclusive Show, royal pundit Ingrid Seward admitted she was left cringing.
She sighed: “I mean I’ve never heard of someone doing a mood board for a wedding anniversary, but maybe it does happen now. But I think it’s… Meghan is just so Californian in everything she does. And that is not a criticism, that’s the way they do things.”
Ms Seward went on by suggesting Meghan was trying too hard to convey that she and her husband are happy together.
It seems to me such a very narcissistic way of doing things to celebrate an anniversary.
She continued: “It seems to me such a very narcissistic way of doing things to celebrate an anniversary. Showing it to the world. Surely if they really were as happy as she makes out she wouldn’t need to tell anyone. That’s what it smacks of to me.”

Meanwhile, another royal commentator told The Sun on Monday (May 19), when Meghan shared her tribute, that the post represented “more of the same” from the Sussexes.
Royal author Hugo Vickers claimed: “She obviously wants to put out the message that all is well, and that they’re a happy and united family. And I guess that leaves the rest of us to make up our minds as to whether we go along with it.”
He added: “It doesn’t really say very much, does it? It’s sort of more of the same.”
