Favourite photos of Princess Lilibet and her red hair as she celebrates fourth birthday
Happy birthday, Lilibet!Today marks Princess Lilibet‘s fourth birthday, so we’re going to be looking back at our favourite photographs of the young royal.
From cute baby pictures of Lilibet as a tot to Meghan’s latest Instagram post, here are some of our top snaps…
Princess Lilibet’s best photos as she celebrates her fourth birthday
On June 4, 2021, Meghan and Prince Harry welcomed their daughter, Lilibet Diana, into the world.
However, it wasn’t until December of that year that royal fans got a glimpse at the latest addition to the royal family.
In an adorable family Christmas card, Meghan could be seen lifting a laughing Lilibet into the air. The image can be seen here.
Prince Harry and Prince Archie sat by their side, smiling.
“This year, 2021, we welcomed our daughter, Lilibet, to the world. Archie made us a ‘Mama’ and a ‘Papa’, and Lili made us a family,” they wrote on the inside of the card.
Royal fans had to wait another six months before the next official Lilibet photo was released.
To celebrate her first birthday, a picture of Lilibet was released. In the photo, Lilibet, her ginger hair on full display, could be seen sitting on the grass in a pale blue dress, smiling at the camera.
The pic can be seen here. Her adorable red hair was on display, leaving royal fans gushing.
Glimpses of Lilibet in Harry and Meghan’s documentary
Royal fans got a few more glimpses of Lilibet during Harry and Meghan’s docuseries on Netflix in 2022.
In the documentary, Harry and Meghan shared some intimate photos of Lilibet from when she was a baby.
One picture shared by the couple showed Meghan carrying a sleeping Lilibet in a sling.
Another showed a sleeping Lilibet wearing an adorable onesie with the words: “Petite Lili” written on it.
Viewers also got a heartwarming glimpse at Lilibet crawling in the grass of the family’s garden in Montecito.

Meghan’s Instagram photos of Princess Lilibet
Since returning to Instagram earlier this year, Meghan has shared several photos of Lilibet.
However, none have shown her face fully.
One photo Meghan uploaded in April 2025 showed her and Lilibet picking flowers in the garden. Though it does show the back of Lilibet’s head, her long red hair is on full display, showing royal fans that she really has taken after her father.

In March, Lilibet could be seen being carried by her mother as they went foraging in the garden.
Though she was wearing a hat, Lilibet’s red hair could be glimpsed underneath it.
Meghan also gave fans a glimpse of Lilibet before the release of her Netflix show.
In the photo, Meghan and Lilibet, alongside tennis legend Serena Williams, can be seen reading a book.
The young royal is seen wearing floral, pink leggings and a pink top.

Another photo, again from the back, showed Harry, Archie, and Lilibet walking through their garden in Montecito. In Lilibet’s case, however, she can be seen sitting on her father’s shoulders.

Meghan shares sweet post for Lilibet’s birthday
Today saw Meghan mark Lilibet’s birthday with an intimate photo giving royal fans a glimpse at the young royal’s face.
In the photo, Meghan can be seen cuddling her daughter on what looks to be a boat trip. Lilibet can be seen looking out at the camera between her mum’s arms.
Happy birthday to our beautiful girl! Four years ago today she came into our lives.
Another photo shared by the royal shows Meghan cuddling Lilibet not soon after her birth.
“Happy birthday to our beautiful girl! Four years ago today she came into our lives – and each day is brighter and better because of it,” Meghan captioned the post.
“Thanks to all of those sending love and celebrating her special day!”
