Prince William and Duchess Sophie leave fans gushing as he issues 'warning' over her
The Prince of Wales teamed up with Duchess Sophie for an engagement
Prince William and Duchess Sophie delighted royal fans with their easygoing banter and chemistry during a joint appearance at the Royal Cornwall Show on Friday, June 6.
The duo were all smiles as they explored the vibrant agricultural event, which celebrates the best of Cornish culture, food, and drink, and even shared a cheeky moment over a cup of gin.

The Prince of Wales, 42, who holds the title Duke of Cornwall while in the region, was joined by his aunt, the Duchess of Edinburgh, 60, for the show.
As patrons of agricultural associations involved in the event, the pair were on hand to celebrate the farming community. But it was their shared humour that stole the spotlight.
As they arrived at a local gin stand, William jokingly remarked: “We’ve gone from chutney straight to booze. I can see what today’s going to be like.”
After sampling a sip, he caught Sophie going in for another taste and teasingly warned the vendors: “You’ve got to watch her!”
Turning to his aunt with a grin, he joked: “You’re not allowed to finish it.”
Unbothered, Sophie laughed and shot back: “He’s learnt from the best.”
William chuckled and admitted: “I’ve been caught out with whisky a few too many times. I think I can do that, and then, oh no, I couldn’t.”
The candid exchange quickly made its way to social media.
One royal fan posted a clip of the moment on X. “Prince William pokes fun at himself and his aunt in this lovely clip. What a well-chuffed bunch they make,” she captioned the viral video.
Comments poured in with admiration.
“Wonderful, natural, authentic. Humble. Perfect,” one fan wrote.
“Love this! They are so funny,” another gushed.
“What a great team! They enjoy one another’s company. I love seeing these moments,” a third fan agreed.

The royal duo also made time to speak with well-wishers and take selfies with members of the public before heading into the Royal Cornwall Food and Farming Pavilion.
There, they sampled an array of Cornish delicacies, including cheeses, chutneys, and preserves.
At one point, William picked up a cup of cider but paused when he saw the label. “What’s the zero mean?” he asked. When told it was alcohol-free, he quipped: “Oh no, no, no. I need original. Someone bring out the big guns.”
Dressed in a sharp checked blazer, blue shirt and navy tie, William looked every bit the polished future king.
Meanwhile, Sophie brought earthy elegance in a brown suede skirt, light pink blouse and olive-green jacket.
While the outing may have been an official engagement, it played out like a heartwarming family reunion.
The duchess appeared especially at ease beside her nephew, who many now see as one of her closest allies in the Firm’s evolving inner circle.
