Meghan Markle 'celebrates' friend Jamie Kern Lima as she's expecting her third baby
Jamie has announced the joyful news on Instagram this weekMeghan Markle has celebrated some lovely baby news this week as her friend Jamie Kern Lima is expecting her third child.
The Duchess of Sussex, 44, and co-founder of IT Cosmetics, Jamie, have been friends for some time. In April, Meghan appeared on Jamie’s podcast, The Jamie Kern Lima Show, for an intimate chat about her business and her personal life.
On Instagram this week, Jamie, 48, announced that she and her husband Paulo Lima are expecting their third baby after a “10+ year long journey filled with fertility challenges and miscarriages”.

Meghan Markle celebrates Jamie Kern Lima’s baby news
Alongside a photo of herself and Paulo smiling as she held up ultrasound images, Jamie wrote: “We’re SO excited to share we’re expecting our third baby!!!!
“After a 10+ year long journey filled with fertility challenges and miscarriages we feel so incredibly blessed to be welcoming our third little one into the world later this year.
“Thank you so much for your prayers and love and support.”
Meghan showed her support for the couple by ‘liking’ the post.
Meghan’s friendship with Jamie
The Duchess of Sussex has shared a close friendship with Jamie, and that was evident during her podcast appearance in April.
The episode marked Meghan’s first podcast appearance ever. During the chat, she opened up about her As Ever business, her relationship with Prince Harry, and being a mum to her children Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet.
During the exchange, Jamie also gushed over a gift basket Meghan once sent her.

Jamie said that she had been “super stressed” and Meghan cheered her up by sending over some ice cream and “homemade strawberry sauce”.
However, the gift basket did spark some criticism as Meghan had signed a note with her HRH (Her Royal Highness) title. When Meghan and Harry stepped back from their senior royal roles in 2020, they agreed not to use their HRH titles for commercial purposes.
After Jamie’s gift sparked backlash, a representative for Meghan denied she broke any rules and insisted it was sent in a private capacity.
More recently, Meghan sent her new As Ever rosé wine to Jamie to mark her 48th birthday in July.
Sharing a photo of the wine which was in a gift box with peaches and flowers, Jamie said: “@meghan thank you for the most magical birthday basket! Our friendship is a gift, as is your beautiful soul!”
