Queen Camilla's defiant 'stance' on Prince Harry after his meeting with King Charles
In his memoir, Harry called Camilla "dangerous"

Queen Camilla reportedly remains “deeply hurt” by Prince Harry’s past remarks, with insiders suggesting she is unlikely to forgive the Duke of Sussex easily, even after his recent reunion with King Charles.
Last week, Prince Harry, 41, met with his father at Clarence House for a private tea. It marked their first face-to-face meeting in 19 months.
The Duke of Sussex later described the king as doing “great”. His spokesman added that Harry had “loved being back in the UK,” fueling speculation of a possible thaw in family tensions.
But noticeably absent from the meeting was Queen Camilla.
According to royal insiders, the queen is still deeply wounded by Harry’s scathing comments about her in both interviews and his 2023 memoir, Spare.

Queen Camilla ‘unable to forgive’ Prince Harry
A royal source told The Times: “He has been extremely unkind to her in print and in word, and she doesn’t forgive easily.”
The sentiment was echoed by a close friend of King Charles: “The royal family make elephants look like they have short memories.”
While Charles may be open to reconciliation, allies of the king suggest that Harry’s words about Camilla will not be forgotten anytime soon.
In his memoir, Spare, Harry detailed his relationship with Camilla during her early romance with Charles.
He wrote: “I had complex feelings about gaining a step parent who, I believed, had recently sacrificed me on her personal PR altar.
“In a funny way I even wanted Camilla to be happy. Maybe she’d be less dangerous if she was happy?”

Prince Harry and Queen Camilla’s relationship now
In an interview with Good Morning America in 2023, Harry addressed his relationship with Camilla.
He said: “I have a huge amount of compassion for her, you know, being the third person within my parents’ marriage.”
When asked about his relationship with Camilla now, Harry said: “We haven’t spoken for a long time. I love every member of my family, despite the differences or the difficulties that those relationships have put out. When I see her, we’re perfectly pleasant with each other.”
Harry also said he doesn’t see Camilla as an “evil stepmother”.
Spare ‘isn’t about revenge’
In a more recent interview, Harry insisted his memoir was “not about revenge“. He also said his “conscience is clear”. However, Camilla’s allies believe his attacks left scars that will not easily heal.
For Harry, who has also faced deep tensions with his brother Prince William, repairing ties with the royal family may prove an uphill battle.
While King Charles has shown openness by agreeing to meet, Queen Camilla could be one of the biggest obstacles in his path to reconciliation.
