The Trumps arrived at Windsor Castle on WednesdayUS President Donald Trump and his wife, First Lady Melania, arrived at Windsor on Wednesday amid their state visit as they were greeted by Prince William and Kate Middleton.
The Prince and Princess of Wales greeted the Trumps before taking them to meet with King Charles and Queen Camilla for a ceremonial welcome.
The president, 79, and first lady, 55, greeted William and Kate with smiles and handshakes upon arrival. They were in the UK for a couple of days for the historic second state visit.

According to reports, Trump was complimentary of the Princess of Wales, 43, as he greeted her. Lip reading expert Nicola Hickling told the Daily Mail that Trump told Kate: “Hello, beautiful, so beautiful.”
As William, 43, and Kate greeted the Trumps, it seems many eyes were on the Princess of Wales.
Her effortless elegance once again captured the attention of onlookers, reaffirming her status as one of the most admired figures in the royal family.
Princess Kate’s dress for state visit
For the occasion on Wednesday, Kate wore a sophisticated burgundy coat dress from Emilia Wickstead, paired with a matching hat from Jane Taylor.
The formal and elegant style was then finished off by adding a touch of royal glitz, with the princess wearing a feather brooch that once belonged to Princess Diana, creating a striking nod to royal heritage while maintaining her signature poise and elegance.

Observers also took notice of the visual contrast among the four figures as they stood together.
Many noticed how tall William and Kate are. According to reports, the Prince of Wales is 6’3″. Kate, meanwhile, is reportedly around 5’9″.
But some fans thought she appeared taller, as she stood with confidence that complimented her husband’s notable presence.
One person wrote on X: “Side note, the Prince and Princess of Wales are very tall, even taller than the Trumps.”
Despite the light-hearted tone online, not all reactions to the president being in the UK have been celebratory. Ahead of the ceremony, outside Windsor Castle, a group of protesters gathered making their voice heard.
However, it seems many royal fans are just enjoying seeing members of the monarchy out and about with the Trumps.
