Kate Middleton and Melania Trump enjoy Scouts day out after Donald bids farewell to King Charles
Fans were thrilled to see them togetherKate Middleton and Melania Trump have been enjoying a day together on a joint outing, as the president‘s time with King Charles comes to an end.
Over the past few days, The First Lady and Donald Trump have been in the UK for their very anticipated second state visit.
While there have been a few awkward moments, the entire thing has seemingly gone quite smoothly. Today (September 18) Kate and Melania continued the engagements, without their husbands.
Kate Middleton and Melania Trump outing with the Scouts
Kate and Melania teamed up to visit the Squirrel Scouts at Frogmore Gardens in Windsor. Their outing came just after Melania spent time touring the Queen Mary’s Dolls’ House with Camilla.
This engagement marks the first outing the pair have done alone together. They joined the UK’s Chief Scout Dwayne Fields, and members of the Scouts’ Squirrels program to witness children exploring nature and earn a ‘Go Wild’ badge.
The women sat with a group of children aged four to six, while they created artwork. According to People Magazine, Melania was heard telling the children: “This is beautiful!” and even joined in on making her own art.
While Melania was getting involved in the art, Kate was sat speaking to the kids about what sort of things they had made throughout the day.
For lunchtime, Kate had arrange a very special snack for the kids – sandwiches made with honey from her Norfolk home at Anmer Hall. And Melania contributed her own gesture by giving each child a jar of White House honey.
Two women ooze ‘pure elegance’
When fans realised it was only Kate Middleton and Melania Trump at the outing, they began to gush over both of the women.
Taking to X, fans shared photos and videos of them, making it clear they loved the pairing.
One wrote: “First Lady Melania Trump with Kate Middleton, Princess of Wales. Pure elegance.”
Another wrote: “Two classy ladies for sure!”
“How striking they both look” a third penned.
An excited fan wrote: “Both women are gorgeous, intelligent and caring. We need more partnerships like these amazing women.”
Responding to a video of the women sat with the kids, one fan penned: “This warms my heart.”
Donald Trump is no longer with King Charles
While Melania was with Kate Middleton, Donald Trump had already bid farewell to King Charles, after his state banquet last night.
Earlier today, Trump said farewell to the royals, sharing a handshake with the king, before he left Windsor Castle.
But that’s not the end of his trip to the UK just yet. As today, he is scheduled to meet with Prime Minister Sir Keir Starmer at Chequers, the British leader’s rural retreat. They are expected to talk politics in the meeting, including topics like Gaza, the Ukraine war and trade.
