Kate Middleton's 'worry' over Christmas carol service: 'She'll want it to be perfect'
Together at Christmas returns this coming Friday!Later this week, Kate Middleton’s annual Christmas carol concert will make its long-awaited return.
Together at Christmas will take place at Westminster Abbey this coming Friday (December 5) and will then be broadcast on ITV on Christmas Eve.
Earlier this week, Kate dropped some exciting new details about the service, unveiling a star-studded line-up of readers and performers.

Will Kate have a surprise up her sleeve?
Speaking on behalf of OLBG, former royal butler, Grant Harrold, shared his thoughts on the upcoming festive event.
He addressed how the service, now in its fifth year, has quickly become a staple part of the royal diary.
“It’s a big thing for [Kate] because it’s hers,” he said. “It’s her project; all the royals have their own projects and things they’re passionate about. She’s become known for it.”
He went on to speculate: “It will be interesting to see what she does this year, she could bring out a violin or a ukulele for all we know.”
Back in 2021, the Princess of Wales impressed the nation with her musical talents, accompanying singer-songwriter Tom Walker on the piano.
“It’s very Christmassy and something for everyone to look forward to – and for her, it’s something to look forward to being a part of every year,” Grant added.
Kate’s ‘worry’ over Christmas carol service
With a live congregation of around 1,600 people attending on Friday, and millions of TV viewers expected to tune in on Christmas Eve, Kate’s got to be feeling at least a little nervous, right?
Grant claims not.
“I don’t ever remember Kate being a nervous person,” he reflected. “She’s very confident and certain of herself in whatever she does. She’s assertive, she knows what she wants to do.”
However, he admitted: “A part of her might worry over things going wrong on the day. She’ll want it to be perfect.”

While the guest list is yet to be confirmed, members of the royal family are expected to join Kate at Friday’s festivities.
Zara and Mike Tindall have already confirmed that they will be attending with their family. In the past, royals such as Princesses Beatrice and Eugenie and the Duke and Duchess of Edinburgh have likewise been in attendance with their children.
“It’s obvious that the royals support it because they go every year,” Grant commented. “Without any doubt, they think it’s a great thing. The late Queen used to say you’ve got to be seen to be believed, and this is very much what Kate is continuing to do. She’s getting all the royal family out together. We used to only see them all together on Christmas morning when they attend church, but now there’s an extra outing.”
“It’s a genius idea, as well as being a lovely one,” the former butler concluded.
Together at Christmas will air on ITV1 and ITVX on Christmas Eve and will be repeated on Christmas Day.
