Prince Harry's surprising VIP guest appearance in Canada where photography was 'banned'
Prince Harry answered a variety of questions
Prince Harry visited Canada on December 1, for his third trip of the year.
The prince popped up at a surprising event. There, he answered a variety of questions. However, there was one major rule in place when it came to chatting with the prince.

Prince Harry’s surprise VIP appearance in Canada
Prince Harry appeared at the OREA Powerhouse Conference in Toronto, Canada.
The event is organised by the Ontario Real Estate Association (OREA). It is touted as “Canada’s best political affairs conference”.
As per reports, Harry was written in on the schedule during the last session of the day at the Hilton Toronto.
His guest appearance was dubbed as “an exclusive conversation with Prince Harry”.
No photos of the Duke of Sussex have been released since the event. But OREA’s Instagram Stories included a video of attendees sharing their excitement for his session and a photo described as the “last pic before Prince Harry takes the stage.”
You might be wondering: “Why did no one snap a pic of the prince!?”
Well, photography was banned. This meant no smiling selfies with the royal.
Photography ‘banned’ as Harry steps out in Canada
As per Laura Collins for MailOnline, Harry’s arrival was well and truly teased. The audience was said to be very eager to lay eyes on a “real-life-prince”.
Collins recounted that Harry took his seat for a ‘fireside chat’ at 3:30pm on December 1.
Surprisingly though, he is said to have introduced his discussion by admitting that he wasn’t there to give any advice about housing or real estate.
“I’m not here to give advice,” he reportedly said. “Especially not in housing.”
Collins explains that no photography or filming was allowed when Prince Harry took to the stage.
The journalist was even “escorted from the room and forced to delete the offending footage,” when she was caught filming Cathy Polan’s introductory words ahead of Prince Harry’s Q&A.

Prince Harry refuses photographs of his dog
Laura Collins also wrote in the Mail about how Harry refuses photos of his precious dog, Pula.
“Later, Harry revealed that his aversion to photography extends to his pets – one of his favourite things, he shared, is walking his black Labrador, Pula. But when enchanted Americans ask if they can take a picture of her his response is, ‘No. No you can’t.'”
In response to a question about advice for a profession in crisis, the prince allegedly responded: “I come from a unique standpoint, a unique upbringing, a life of service and I will always be part of what I was born into. I made the conscious decision to put my wife and family first while also very much wanting to continue that service.”
Prince Harry discusses public life
As for the other pieces of wisdom Harry shared, he did give an insight into his headspace when it came to public life.
He reportedly said: “When I was in my twenties I wanted to put my head in the sand, my fingers in my ears and avoid public life entirely – look what it did to my mother. Then I realised I had to pull my [bleep] together… you have a platform. At first service was experienced because I had to do it, and the change was I want to continue to do it because I enjoy it.”
