Prince Harry and Meghan Markle show ‘different side’ to relationship on Netflix show
Speaking on behalf of Betfair Slots, body language expert Darren Stanton revealed: “I think it’s really positive to see Harry and Meghan interacting not just in formal, polished environments, but in moments where they can relax and share a bit of light-hearted banter.
“It shows a different side of their relationship, one that feels warm, grounded, and genuine. Despite the negativity that circulates online or in certain media outlets, their dynamic here speaks for itself.”
He continued, saying their body language is “especially telling”.
Darren explained: “The sustained eye contact between them suggests trust, comfort, and emotional closeness. Eye contact of that kind isn’t forced; it naturally occurs when two people feel connected and at ease with each other.
“Their expressions were soft and spontaneous, with no signs of forced smiles or emotional masking. Genuine smiles engage the muscles around the eyes, and that’s exactly what was happening, those small, authentic micro-expressions that appear before a smile fully forms.”

‘Their connection seems both loving and resilient’
Darren also said that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex had “natural mirroring” between them.
He said the playful teasing about Meghan’s gumbo also shows a “relaxed rhythm in their conversation”.
It shows a different side of their relationship, one that feels warm, grounded, and genuine.
Darren concluded his analysis: “Playfulness is often a sign of security in a relationship; people only joke like that when they feel safe and mutually understood.

“Overall, it was refreshing to see them behaving like any other couple enjoying a moment together, sharing laughs, exchanging glances, and showing genuine affection.
“Everything about their interaction suggested authenticity: real emotions, natural expressions, and a strong bond that appears unfazed by any external negativity. Their connection seems both loving and resilient, and this moment really highlighted that.”
