Prince Harry booed over Donald Trump joke in surprise Stephen Colbert appearance
Prince Harry made jaws drop on stage
US President Donald Trump was hilariously roasted by Prince Harry as he made a very surprising appearance on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert on December 3.
The Duke of Sussex “spoof-crashed” Wednesday’s broadcast and poked fun at President Trump’s royal aspirations.
Prince Harry makes fun of President Donald Trump
Prince Harry unbelievably wandered onto stage in the middle of Stephen Colbert’s dialogue about unrealistic Christmas movies.
One trope in particular, meeting royalty and falling in love, he described as particularly unrealistic. Well, Harry proved him wrong when he announced he was there to audition for a Hallmark Christmas movie.

When Colbert questioned whether Harry was really after the gig, the prince cheekily replied: “Well, you Americans are obsessed with Christmas movies and you’re clearly obsessed with royalty, so why not?”
Colbert stated he didn’t think that Americans are really that interested in royalty.
To this, Prince Harry responded with a hilarious roast of Donald Trump.
He quipped: “Really?! I heard you ‘elected‘ a king.”
The audience then erupted with laughter and booed at the mention of Trump before Colbert replied: “Fair point.”
Prince Harry’s hilarious The Late Show with Stephen Colbert skit
Harry went on to lean into the bit, claiming he would do anything to play a prince charming in a Christmas movie.
“I’ll record a self-tape, I’ll fly myself to an audition,” he said joked before making another cheeky quip about Trump.
Harry said: “I’ll settle a baseless lawsuit with the White House, all the things you people on TV do.”
“Hey, hey, hey… I didn’t do any of those things,” Colbert exclaimed.
Harry then deadpanned and stated: “Maybe that’s why you’re cancelled.”
The joke referenced CBS’ decision to end The Late Show. The show is set to conclude in May 2026.
The network claimed that the decision is “purely financial” and unrelated to Colbert’s content or performance.
However, the move did ruffle feathers as it came shortly after Paramount Global reached a legal settlement with Trump and was seeking White House approval for its merger with Skydance Media, according to reports.

Prince Harry’s ‘feud’ with President Donald Trump
This isn’t the first time Harry has stoked Trump’s ire.
The alleged feud between the Trumps and the Sussexes dates all the way back to 2020.
That year, Harry and Meghan Markle commented on the run up to the election, in which Trump lost to Joe Biden.
Meghan appeared on the Michelle Obama-backed get-out-the-vote initiative, When All Women Vote, and spoke of wanting the “change we all need and deserve”.
That September, Harry shared his own thoughts. He said: “As we approach this November, it’s vital that we reject hate speech, misinformation and online negativity.”
Evidently, Trump wasn’t happy.
Donald Trump’s swipe at Harry and Meghan
He quickly swiped back at Meghan and Harry, telling reporters at a White House press briefing: “I’m not a fan of hers.
“I would say this—and she has probably has heard that—I wish a lot of luck to Harry because he’s going to need it.”
And Harry’s skit this week implies the feud bubbles on. Unsurprisingly, viewers were stunned to see Harry play along with the skit.
One penned: “Prince Harry is a natural. Come on Hallmark, cast him.”
“OMFG. I [bleep] love this guy,” chimed in another.
“I had no idea our favourite Prince Harry was this funny. He’s super hilarious,” penned a third.
“No false notes, 10/10. Well played Prince Harry,” joked a fourth.
Prince Harry lip-syncs to Alison Hammond viral moment
Harry even referenced his wife Meghan in the skit when asked by Colbert whether he knows any famous actresses personally, he joked that he “might” know one. Of course, before marrying Harry, Meghan had a big Hollywood acting career.
Behind the scenes, the prince took the time to sit down with Colbert and lip-sync to a hilarious viral clip of Great British Bake Off host Alison Hammond.
In the famous clip, Alison asks a bake off contestant if they were “king for the day,” what would they like her to do for them.
They replied: “Bake for me, probably,” but Alison misheard, thinking Northern Irish baker Mark Lutton said “beg”.
Alison then asked, stunned: “You’d want me to do what? Beg?”

A giggling Mark then reiterated: “Bake!”
To which a still confused Alison questioned again: “Beg!?”
“B-A-K-E,” Mark stated prompting Alison to reply: “Oh bake!”
Now, imagine this lip-synced by Prince Harry himself? P-E-R-F-E-C-T.
And, of course, fans were amazed.
One praised: “Wait he’s so good at lip syncing??”
“He definitely inherited his mum’s sense of humour,” praised another.
“Prince Harry is the coolest royal evahhhh! More of this please,” added a third. [Sic]
