As the Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor scandal continues on with new information emerging, the royal family have been largely quiet – but it seems Queen Camilla has potentially signalled her current focus with a “deliberate” royal brooch choice.

Did you spot it?

Queen Camilla ‘signals’ her stance amid Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor scandal

Queen Camilla and King Charles were photographed on Sunday (February 1), as they attended church nearby to their Sandringham Estate.

It was there that Queen Camilla, bundled up in a tan Anna Valentine coat and a faux fur-trimmed hat, was spotted by jewellery expert Justin Daughters.

He spotted a very special item pinned to Camilla’s coat. A diamond brooch in the shape of a Tudor crown.

Now, it may look like a predictable piece from the royal collection, however, it seems that this brooch doesn’t have a specific back story.

And evidently, Camilla has sported it during a very sensitive time.

In fact, thus far, it is only attached to speculation that it was previously gifted to Camilla by King Charles ahead of his coronation.

Likely given shortly before Camilla debuted the sparkling piece in July of 2023, whilst visiting Scotland with Charles.

Despite this, Justin Daughters believes that this brooch signals something very important.

The ‘meaning’ behind Queen Camilla’s crown brooch

“When Queen Camilla chose to wear this brooch, the message was quiet but deliberate,” Justin Daughters, managing director at Berganza, explained. “Brooches are the most controlled form of royal jewellery. They are never decorative accidents—they are signals.”

“Unlike necklaces or earrings, brooches don’t frame beauty. They frame intention. Positioned close to the heart, they carry symbolic weight—loyalty, remembrance, duty. That placement is doing the emotional work here,” he stated as per Marie Claire.

As the royals endure a fraught time given Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor and Sarah Ferguson’s alleged connections to convicted sex offender Epstein are being dredged up again, it seems that Camilla is putting on a brave face.

In fact, her choice in jewellery could indicate she is sticking by her husband during this trying time.

“In moments like this, jewellery isn’t about embellishment—it’s about authority without excess. This is jewellery that asks to be noticed second, not first. It doesn’t interrupt the moment. It supports it. That restraint is a very deliberate royal instinct,” Justin Daughters continued.

All eyes are on Sarah Ferguson and Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor

Meanwhile, all eyes are on Sarah Ferguson and Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor as more scrutiny is thrown their way.

Within the latest batch of Epstein files, images appeared to show Andrew kneeling on all fours over an unidentified woman lying on the ground.

No context has been supplied for the images. It’s also unclear when and where they were taken.

Andrew has previously faced allegations of sexual assault from the late Virginia Giuffre, a victim of Epstein.

The former prince has vehemently denied the allegations.

Andrew has always vehemently denied any wrongdoing in relation to Epstein and being named or pictured among the Epstein files is not an indication of wrongdoing.

Elsewhere, as reported by the BBC, one 2010 email in the latest Epstein files appeared to claim that Princess Eugenie was on a “sh**ging weekend”.

This email is believed to be from Sarah Ferguson.

However, the email address is redacted, it’s unclear to confirm whether Ferguson did indeed pen the email.

Representatives for Ferguson and Andrew have been contacted for comment on the files.
