Met Police urged to take action over Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor as damning new Epstein files emerge
More pressure is mounting against the former prince following a new batch of Epstein filesAndrew Mountbatten-Windsor is making headlines again following the release of the latest batch of Epstein files.
For years now, Andrew, 65, has faced intense scrutiny over his association with late convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein. Last October, Andrew lost his royal titles and honours, as well as being told to leave his Royal Lodge home, in the wake of renewed scrutiny.
At the time, his ties to Epstein was making headlines while his accuser Virginia Giuffre’s posthumous memoir detailed her alleged encounters with the royal. Ms Giuffre alleged she was made to sleep with Andrew on three separate occasions when she was 17 after being trafficked by Epstein. Andrew has always denied the allegations.
Now, fresh accusations have been made about Andrew, King Charles’ younger brother, and the Metropolitan Police has been urged to take action.

Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor mentioned in latest batch of Epstein files
On Friday, three million files relating to Jeffrey Epstein and his crimes were released by the US Department of Justice.
Within these files, images appearing to show Andrew kneeling on all fours over an unidentified woman lying on the ground have been released.
In two of the images, he is seen touching the person, who is fully clothed, on her stomach. Another image shows him staring at the camera.
No context has been supplied for the images. It’s also unclear when and where they were taken.
Royal Insider contacted representatives for Andrew for comment.
He has always vehemently denied any wrongdoing in relation to Epstein. Being named or pictured among the Epstein files is not an indication of wrongdoing.

New Andrew allegations emerge
Following the release of the files, a second woman has come forward alleging she was sent to the UK by Epstein for a sexual encounter with Andrew.
Speaking to the BBC, the woman’s lawyer, Brad Edwards from the US firm Edwards Henderson, said that after she spent the night with the former prince, the woman claims she was given a tour of Buckingham Palace and had tea.
Andrew should volunteer to speak to Congress.
The lawyer told the publication: “We’re talking about at least one woman who was sent by Jeffrey Epstein over to Prince Andrew. And she even had, after a night with Prince Andrew, a tour of Buckingham Palace.”
The sexual encounter allegedly happened at Andrew’s Windsor residence, Royal Lodge, in 2010.
According to the BBC, the woman, who is not British, was in her 20s at the time.
Royal Insider has contacted reps for Andrew and Buckingham Palace for comment on these claims.

Met Police urged to reopen investigation
Now, following the new Epstein files and fresh allegations against Andrew, the Met Police has been urged to reopen its investigation into Queen Elizabeth II’s second son.
Gloria Allred, a lawyer who has represented 27 of Epstein’s victims, told the Mail on Sunday: “The Metropolitan Police should reopen their investigation of Andrew.

“In addition, Andrew should volunteer to speak to Congress, even though he has denied that he has committed any crime.
“He should do this to help the survivors learn what he observed and what was going on at the crime scene. The crime scene was every residence of Jeffrey Epstein, and Andrew stayed with Epstein at a number of his homes.”
Keir Starmer speaks out
It comes after UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer urged Andrew to testify before US congress about his links to Epstein.
He told reporters recently: “Firstly, I have always approached this question with the victims of Epstein in mind. Epstein’s victims have to be the first priority. As for whether there should be an apology, that’s a matter for Andrew.
“But yes, in terms of testifying, I have always said anybody who has got information should be prepared to share that information in whatever form they are asked to do that. You can’t be victim-centred if you’re not prepared to do that.”
