Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor is reportedly unimpressed about moving into his new Sandringham home after being evicted from Royal Lodge.

The disgraced royal, 65, left Royal Lodge recently amid renewed scrutiny over his links to late convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein. While his reported permanent new home, Marsh Farm, undergoes renovations, Andrew is staying in a temporary property on the Sandringham Estate.

However, according to reports, Andrew is not keen to move into Marsh Farm. Sources claim that the five-bedroom house is too small for him…

Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor’s new home after Royal Lodge

Buckingham Palace confirmed in October last year that Andrew’s royal titles and honours were being removed amid scrutiny over his association with Epstein.

Andrew was also accused of sexual assault. The late Virginia Giuffre alleged she was made to sleep with Andrew on three separate occasions when she was 17 after being trafficked by Epstein.

Andrew has always denied the allegations against him.

However, amid headlines over his links to Epstein, scrutiny was mounting late last year.

As well as losing his titles, it was also confirmed that Andrew would move out of his Windsor property, Royal Lodge. He had lived there since 2004. It was then reported that Andrew’s new home would be on the king’s Sandringham Estate in Norfolk.

Five-bedroom Marsh Farm is located two miles west of Sandringham House. It marks a significant downgrade for the former Duke of York as Royal Lodge features around 30 rooms, seven of which are bedrooms.

He won’t have lived anywhere that small since he left his apartment at Buckingham Palace.

What’s more, last week, it was claimed that Andrew was sent packing from Royal Lodge earlier than planned following the release of more Epstein files.

Release of Jeffrey Epstein files

On January 30, more than three million files relating to Epstein and his crimes were released by the US Department of Justice.

Within these files, images appeared to show Andrew kneeling on all fours over an unidentified female lying on the ground.

No context has been supplied for the images. It’s also unclear when and where they were taken.

Days after the files were released, Andrew left Royal Lodge.

However, Andrew is reportedly not keen on his new Sandringham home. A source recently told Daily Mail: “He really didn’t want Marsh Farm.

“He won’t have lived anywhere that small since he left his apartment at Buckingham Palace. And then he had free roam of the building and grounds when he needed space.”

Royal Insider has contacted Andrew’s representatives for comment.

Security fence and Sky TV installation at Marsh Farm

Last month, it was reported that significant renovation work was needed on Marsh Farm before Andrew could move in.

Six-foot high security fences have reportedly sprung up around the property. It replaces the rather flimsy wire fence that previously surrounded the property.

The previous fence gave passers-by a good view of the cottage. However, this new fence would give Andrew some added privacy. In pictures obtained by the Daily Mail, Sky engineers were also seen at the property, presumably installing Sky TV.

It has also been claimed that staff at Sandringham have reportedly been given permission not to serve Andrew if they don’t feel comfortable.

According to The Sun, there is already “quite a list” of staff who’ve made it clear they don’t want to serve the disgraced royal.

Andrew has always vehemently denied any wrongdoing in relation to Epstein. Being named or pictured among the Epstein files is not an indication of wrongdoing.
