Princess Beatrice and Eugenie accused of 'betraying the nation' amid Andrew and Epstein scandal: 'Time for the sisters to speak out'
The royal sisters have allegedly been mentioned in the Epstein files in relation to their parentsPrincess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie have been urged to speak out amid the scandal surrounding their father, Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor.
For years, Andrew, 65, has faced scrutiny over his association with late convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein. Andrew also faced allegations of sexual assault.
The late Virginia Giuffre alleged she was made to have sex with Andrew on three separate occasions when she was 17, after being trafficked by Epstein. Andrew has always vehemently denied the allegations.
Recently, scrutiny has intensified. On January 30, the US Department of Justice released more than three million files relating to Epstein and his crimes.
Within these files, images appeared to show Andrew kneeling on all fours over an unidentified female lying on the ground. No context has been supplied for the images.

Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor and Jeffrey Epstein scandal
Emails allegedly between Andrew and Epstein have also emerged within the files.
Amid all the scrutiny, Andrew is facing calls to testify before US Congress over his ties to Epstein. He has yet to respond to the calls.
Andrew has always denied any wrongdoing in relation to Epstein.
Meanwhile, Andrew’s ex-wife and Beatrice and Eugenie’s mother, Sarah Ferguson, has also been under scrutiny.
Emails allegedly between Ferguson and Epstein emerged in the newly released files last month. In them, Ferguson appeared to refer to Epstein as a “legend” and like a “brother” to her.
Sarah Ferguson allegations
Allegedly, following Epstein’s prison release in 2009 following his conviction for soliciting sex from a minor, Ferguson reportedly visited him in Miami. Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie were allegedly also in attendance. The sisters were 20 and 19 at the time.
Reports also claimed that in another email, Ferguson had allegedly wrote that Beatrice had been present when she called a journalist in 2011 to say it was “wrong” to call Epstein a sex offender as the disgraced financier had “done his penence and was out of jail and moving on with his life”.
She allegedly wrote in the email: “Beatrice and I had a discussion and we agreed it was important to call Geordie back and make sure he understood the severity of NOT making a mistake and getting it wrong about Jeffrey.”
Ferguson has not yet addressed the files publicly. It has not been confirmed whether the emails pertained to or were from Ferguson and the true context has not been revealed.
Being named or pictured among the Epstein files is not an indication of wrongdoing.

Beatrice and Eugenie urged to speak out
Now, one royal commentator has urged Beatrice, 37, and Eugenie, 35, to speak out.
In a piece for the MailOnline, Diary Editor Richard Eden shared his experience with the royal sisters.
He said that he has always been “sympathetic” to Beatrice and Eugenie amid their parents’ scandal. This is because he said they seemed “sensible and level-headed whenever I met them at London parties”.
He claimed: “However, the more I read of the three million documents in the Jeffrey Epstein files, the more disturbed I am by how much they knew about the late sex offender and how little they did about it.
It is time for the sisters to speak out.
“After Prince Andrew’s disastrous interview at Buckingham Palace with BBC Newsnight presenter Emily Maitlis in 2019, it was reported that Beatrice had advised her father to take part.
“I found it hard to believe that Bea, as she’s known to friends, could have been involved because it was such a foolish decision.”
Eden said he believes Beatrice “must have been desperate for him to convince the nation he had been involved in no wrongdoing just as he had clearly convinced her”.

‘It is time for the sisters to speak out’
Now, Eden has called for Beatrice and Eugenie to speak out.
He said he fears they have “betrayed my trust and betrayed the nation for allowing, or even encouraging, their father to lie to the nation”.
Therefore, Eden believes, it is “time for the sisters to speak out about what they know and order their father to start telling the truth, to the police and to the authorities in the USA”.
