Epstein, a leaked photo and UFOs: Hillary Clinton’s Epstein testimony unravelled after she 'urged' Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor to testify
Andrew has been under scrutiny for his alleged ties to Epstein
Hillary Clinton has faced hours of questioning before a US congressional committee investigating links to convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein.
In her testimony, she called for greater transparency and urged that all figures connected to the case, including Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor, should testify under oath.
The former US Secretary of State appeared during a closed-door session on Thursday as lawmakers examine relationships between Epstein and a number of high-profile political and public figures.

Hillary Clinton calls for Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor to testify in Epstein case
Speaking after the hearing, Clinton strongly rejected any suggestion she had personal ties to the disgraced financier.
“I did not know Jeffrey Epstein,” she said, as reported by The Guardian. Clinton insisted she had never visited his properties or private island. “If the majority was serious, it would not waste time on fishing expeditions. There is too much that needs to be done. What is being held back? Who is being protected? And why the cover-up?”
During media interviews surrounding the investigation, Clinton said anyone asked to cooperate with investigators should do so, including the former Duke of York.
“I think everyone should testify who is asked to testify,” she told the BBC last week.
Her comments come as scrutiny surrounding Andrew has intensified following the release of millions of documents linked to Epstein by the US Department of Justice.

British police are continuing to assess allegations connected to Andrew’s former role as the UK’s trade envoy.
Last week, he was arrested on suspicion of misconduct in public office. He has been accused of sharing sensitive information with Epstein during his time as a trade envoy.
Andrew has consistently denied all accusations of wrongdoing.

Hillary Clinton testimony
Meanwhile, Clinton’s tense questioning was briefly halted after a Republican congresswoman allegedly leaked a photograph from inside the closed hearing room, prompting objections from Clinton’s legal team.
“We had agreed upon rules,” Clinton said afterward. She described the incident as “very upsetting”.
Images from closed congressional hearings are strictly prohibited.
Clinton also claimed questioning became increasingly unusual as proceedings dragged on, revealing that discussion briefly veered into conspiracy theories.
“It got quite unusual,” she said. She claimed she was asked about UFOs and long-debunked claims linked to the “Pizzagate” conspiracy theory.
She described many questions as repetitive and politically motivated rather than focused on Epstein’s victims.
Clinton argued the investigation should include all individuals whose names appear repeatedly in Epstein-related material, including current US president, Donald Trump.
“If this committee is serious,” she said, “it would ask [Trump] directly under oath about the tens of thousands of times he shows up in the Epstein files.”
Her husband, former US president Bill Clinton, is also scheduled to give evidence. Transcripts from both testimonies are expected to be released publicly.
The renewed focus on Epstein’s network has triggered fresh controversy on both sides of the Atlantic, with Andrew once again facing intense attention over his past association with the financier.
The former royal stepped back from public duties in 2019 following his widely criticised BBC Newsnight interview. Last October, King Charles stripped his younger brother of all royal titles and honours, and evicted him from his Windsor mansion.
