Meghan Markle “comes across as very down to earth” in a new clip from her Netflix show With Love, Meghan.

As anticipation builds for the March 4 premiere, promotional clips for With Love, Meghan have flooded social media.

In a recent teaser released on February 27, Meghan is seen cooking alongside Korean-American chef Roy Choi in her kitchen.

In the one-minute clip, the two discuss music and dancing as they prepare ingredients. “You and I are so similar,” Roy gushed in the clip.

Meghan Markle ‘relatable’ and ‘down to earth’ in clip for Netflix show

According to body language expert Darren Stanton, who analysed the footage on behalf of Betfair Casino, Meghan appears “open and engaged,” which may help humanise her with audiences.

Darron noted that Meghan’s body language reflects warmth and humility. This makes her seem more accessible than ever before.

“Meghan comes across as very down to earth in the clip,” he explained. “This feels like her successfully connecting with the audience more and really opening up. The tone of the show really helps humanise her, taking her down from that royal pedestal that people have put her on.”

Darren highlighted specific signs that show Meghan’s effort to engage with both her guest and the audience.

He said: “She is actively listening, showing engagement, keeping an open posture, and not dominating the space, all of which are signs of humility. This, combined with the mundane conversations her and her guest are having, makes her seem quite relatable.”

As a former actress and TV star, Meghan is no stranger to performing on screen. Darren noted that this natural confidence shines through.

The tone of the show really helps humanise her, taking her down from that royal pedestal that people have put her on.

He said: “Meghan also appears supremely confident and relaxed. Her posture was open, her movements smooth, and she was maintaining steady eye contact. This is unsurprising, she is back in her element.

“Being in front of the camera comes naturally to her, and you can see that in her body language. The show is clearly her baby and she really wants to connect with the audience.”

Meghan Markle and Princess Kate in ‘jam war’

Meanwhile, in other Meghan Markle news, a royal “jam war” may be unfolding between Princess Kate and Meghan  after Kate’s recent comment about her homemade plum jam sparked speculation of a dig at Meghan’s luxury jam launch.

During a visit to a community garden in Wales this week, Kate, 43, offered to share her plum jam recipe with young gardeners.

Royal commentator Charles Rae noted the contrast between Kate’s free recipe and Meghan’s reported £25-£30 per jar jam release under her As Ever lifestyle brand.

“I think she knows exactly what she’s doing here,” Charles told GB News, referring to Kate. “And she’s now giving that recipe for free to a well-wisher. I suspect that Kensington Palace is going to get flooded with requests for that recipe.”

Meanwhile, Meghan’s apparent pricey jams have been criticised.

“That is four times more than a pot of jam that you could buy at the Highgrove Royal shop,” Charles added, referring to King Charles’ Highgrove Estate jam – which sells for around £7 per jar.

“We’ve got jam wars going on,” Charles joked.

With Love, Meghan premieres on Netflix on March 4.
