Meghan Markle pens handwritten note to 'scared' podcast host following fears for the duchess
With Love, Meghan was hit by negative reviewsMeghan Markle has sent a handwritten note to a podcast host after she announced her ‘fear’ for the duchess following her Netflix show.
With Love, Meghan premiered on March 4, and was immediately hit by harsh reviews. However, despite the negativity surrounding the release, it quickly entered Netflix’s global Top 10 list. And just a few days later Netflix renewed it for another season.
But it wasn’t just the show that was being criticised, it was Meghan Markle herself. However, when Not Skinny But Not Fat podcast host Amanda Hirsch raised concerns over the show, the 43-year-old responded.

Before it was released, Amanda posted a comment on the show’s trailer post: “You guys I am scared for Meghan.” And it appears Meghan saw it, and wanted to get in touch with Amanda herself.
Yesterday (March 19), Amanda shared the handwritten letter on Instagram, which has been confirmed to be real.
The first image in the post was a screenshot of the comment she made 10 weeks ago. Then the next slide showed Meghan’s response.
Meghan wrote: “Dear Amanda, I heard you were feeling scared. Don’t be! This is the fun part – let’s enjoy it.”
Amanda captioned the post: “OH MY DUCHESS.”

On her Instagram stories, the podcast host then went into more detail about what she actually meant with her original comments.
She said: “Remember I said I was scared for Meghan’s new show, and the possible hate she would get because for some reason people want to hate on her about everything?”
Dear Amanda, I heard you were feeling scared. Don’t be!
And in another story, she insisted the Duchess of Sussex has a “fan for life” and that she was “obviously” framing the letter.
Amanda continued: “Beyond shook. Beyond spiralling. Did I smell the paper? Yes! Do I want my own monogram? Yes. Am I absolutely flabbergasted and obsessed? YES.”

Duchess of Sussex set to launch her own podcast
Meghan’s response to the podcast host comes as she announced her very own podcast, all about being a female founder, teaming up with Lemonade Media.
Revealing the news to her followers, Meghan wrote on Instagram: “I’m so excited to share with you something else I’ve been working on: Confessions of Female Founder. My new podcast with @lemonadamedia!
“I have been having candid conversations with amazing women who have turned dreams into realities, and scaled small ideas into massively successful businesses. They are opening up, sharing their tips, tricks (and tumbles). And letting me pick their brains as I build out my own business As Ever.”

She confirmed that the first episode will launch on April 8. However, it didn’t take long for her newest venture to be surrounded by more controversy.
Meghan was accused of copying another show, with a very similar title to her new project.
Users took to social media to slam the news. One wrote: “Maybe you would like to know, Meghan Markle has ripped off another woman’s podcast called ‘Confessions of a CEO’.”
Another added: “A simple Google search would help, Meghan.”
However, despite the copying claims, many royal fans are still excited for the duchess’ new chapter. And pointed out that many podcasts have a similar name nowadays.
One said: ” So now Meghan deserves criticism because her podcast has a generic title? Are all these other women plagiarists too? Or is it only considered plagiarism when it’s Meghan?”
