Meghan Markle’s new ShopMy Closet
The mum-of-two announced her new ShopMy website on her Instagram on Monday (March 24), linking to her favourite fashion pieces. In a disclaimer at the top it says some links may earn a commission.
Although she received a bit of backlash for sharing a photo of Prince Archie and Lilibet beforehand. Critics claimed it was ‘tacky’ timing in a bid to get more ‘views’ on her closet.
The site has a selection of items that are familiar to her personal style and own wardrobe, including her favourite sunglasses and oversized shirts.
On the URL of the closet, it ends with ‘ms’ which seemingly refers to Meghan Sussex and her identification of her and Prince Harry’s family name.

Meghan Markle and the Sussex name drama
It seems she’s sticking to her guns over the royal family surname debate which came after the release of her Netflix cooking show.
As we know, The Firm’s last name is Mountbatten-Windsor, and they form the House of Windsor. But when it comes to surnames, it’s more complicated than that, as royals can use their titles or titles of their parents.
She corrected friend Mindy Kaling on her own show, when she called her by Markle.
“You know I’m Sussex now?” she called out.
Adding: “You have kids and you go, ‘No, I share my name with my children.
“I didn’t know how meaningful that would be to me, but it just means so much to go, this is our family name, our little family name.”
Meghan also told People: “It’s our shared name as a family, and I guess I hadn’t recognised how meaningful that would be to me until we had children. I love that that is something that Archie, Lili, H and I all have together. It means a lot to me.”

Where did Sussex come from?
Meghan and Harry received the titles of Duke and Duchess of Sussex from the late Queen Elizabeth II as a wedding gift.
Similarly to how Prince William and Kate Middleton were known as the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge before they were made the Wales family.
Despite the duo leaving The Firm in 2020, their titles have remained, and will continue to do so.
The only way Meghan and Harry could lose their titles would be if they were removed through an Act of Parliament. Harry will also always be a prince, as he was born one.
