Kate Middleton was spotted giving a firm command to son Prince Louis during Trooping the Colour, a report claims.

The Princess of Wales, 43, accompanied her three children by carriage for Saturday’s (June 14) event in London to mark King Charles’ official birthday.

She was seen sitting next to Princess Charlotte, with her two sons facing them as they waved to onlookers during the short journey through The Mall to Horse Guards Parade and back to Buckingham Palace. But when the Waleses were joined by Prince William and other members of the royal family on the palace balcony, one lip reader spied a non-negotiable instruction Kate Middleton delivered to her youngest child.

Kate Middleton stuns at Trooping the Colour

Princess Kate was again the royals’ epitome of elegance over the weekend, drawing gasps and plaudits for her impeccable style.

She wore a Catherine Walker turquoise dress coat for the occasion. Her outfit was also adorned with the Irish Guards Regimental brooch, and a pair of pearl and diamond drop earrings that previously belonged to Queen Elizabeth II.

Furthermore, Princess Charlotte’s own ensemble complimented what her mother was wearing perfectly. And comparisons were also drawn between how Princess Kate regarded her husband, and the relationship between the late Queen Elizabeth II and late Prince Philip.

Among all of this activity and excitement, however, Kate was still a doting mother to her three little ones – even if Prince Louis may have needed a word of direction here and there.

What did Kate Middleton say to Prince Louis?

Not least for his animated public performances over the years, Prince Louis is often regarded as the family live wire.

However, amid claims the Waleses are highly “synchronised” and the young siblings “police” each other, millions of the royal family’s fans are seeing the seven-year-old grow up rapidly.

Nonetheless, he’s still very much young enough – and always will be – to receive orders from his mum. And according to the Mirror, lip reading expert Jeremy Freeman claimed Kate told Louis while they were on the balcony to “stand”.

That’s because the National Anthem was beginning – and Prince Louis immediately stood up straight as his mother ordered.
