Heartbreaking 'reason' King Charles can't strip Prince Harry of royal titles as William 'would remove them in a heartbeat'
Harry has kept his royal title despite stepping back from dutiesKing Charles may feel a “spot of guilt” over his youngest son Prince Harry, a commentator has claimed.
It’s been suggested that this could be the reason the king won’t strip Harry of his royal titles.
Prince Harry and his wife Meghan Markle have retained their Duke and Duchess of Sussex titles despite stepping away from senior royal duties six years ago.
Many royal fans have called for the couple to have their titles removed since they’re no longer working royals.

‘Why’ King Charles wouldn’t strip Harry and Meghan of their royal titles
Journalist and TV star Jane Moore has said King Charles may feel “paralysed by his love and responsibility” to Harry.
She wrote in a piece for The Sun: “Prince William, one feels, would remove their titles in a heartbeat given half the chance. But it seems that King Charles, about to embark on a state visit to the States, is perhaps paralysed by his love and responsibility to his troubled youngest son, and maybe a spot of guilt too.”
Jane’s comments come after Harry and Meghan’s recent trip to Australia. Before the tour, Harry and Meghan’s office said the trip would “focus on mental health, community resilience, and support for veterans and their families, alongside private meetings and special projects”.

Speaking at the InterEdge Summit at Melbourne Park, Harry admitted: “After my mum died just before my 13th birthday, I was like: ‘I don’t want this job. I don’t want this role, wherever this is headed, I don’t like it.’
“It killed my mum, and I was very much against it. I stuck my head in the sand for years and years.
Prince William, one feels, would remove their titles in a heartbeat given half the chance.
“Eventually I realised, well, hang on, if there was somebody else in this position, how would they be making the most of this platform and this ability and the resources that come with it to make a difference in the world?
“And also, what would my mum want me to do? And that really changed my own perspective.”

Harry’s relationship with his family
Since stepping back from senior royal duties in 2020, Harry’s relationship with his family has seemingly been strained.
His and Meghan’s tell-all interviews and his memoir Spare have caused tension between the Sussexes and the royal family thanks to the couple’s damning allegations about their experience within the monarchy.
However, last year, Harry admitted he’d love a reconciliation with his family. He told the BBC: “Of course, some members of my family will never forgive me for writing a book. But I would love reconciliation with my family.
“There’s no point in continuing to fight any more. Life is precious.”
