Prince Harry heads to Toronto in Canada

During his time in the Canadian city of Toronto, Prince Harry will reportedly meet with veterans, members of the armed forces community and military charities.

Tomorrow (November 5), the duke will reportedly undertake engagements in support of the Canadian armed forces and veteran community.

He is then said to be heading to a private lunch with the True Patriot Love military charity. In the evening, he will reportedly attend a private fundraising function on behalf of the HALO Trust. The landmine-clearing charity was previously supported by Harry’s late mother, Princess Diana.

The following day (November 6), Prince Harry is expected to visit the Veterans Centre at Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre, one of the largest veteran care facilities in Canada.

In the evening, he will reportedly attend the 17th annual True Patriot Love’s National Tribute Dinner. Canada’s largest celebration in support of military members, veterans and their families, the dinner will be attended by members of the Canadian Armed Forces, veterans, government representatives, and business leaders.

Prince Harry has visited Canada many times before. It is a significant place for the royal, being the only nation to have hosted his Invictus Games twice, in 2017 and again at the start of this year.

It was at the 2017 edition of the sporting competition that Harry made his first public appearance with his now-wife, Meghan Markle.

Prince William visits Brazil

The news comes as Harry’s big brother, Prince William, embarks on his own overseas trip to Brazil.

The Prince of Wales has travelled solo to Rio de Janeiro for the Earthshot Prize awards ceremony. The Earthshot Prize aims to discover bold, innovative solutions to the world’s most pressing environmental issues. Each year, five winners are awarded £1 million for their work.

The fifth annual Earthshot Prize Awards will take place at the Museum of Tomorrow on Wednesday (November 5). It marks the first time the Earthshot Prize is being hosted in South America.

While Princess Kate has previously attended the awards do with William, it appears this year she has decided to stay at home with the couple’s three young children.

The Prince of Wales will also undertake other environmental engagements whilst in the city. He will reportedly give a landmark speech at the United for Wildlife Global Summit.

Following his time in Rio de Janeiro, the Prince of Wales will then travel on to Belém to attend the COP30 World Leaders Summit on behalf of the king.
