Princesses Beatrice and Eugenie miss royal Easter service
This year, William’s cousins Princesses Beatrice and Eugenie have missed the Easter service.
They usually attend alongside the royal family. But this Easter, they’ve reportedly made “alternative plans”.
Their absence comes at a difficult time for the sisters as their parents, Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor and Sarah Ferguson, face intense scrutiny over their past links to late convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein.
Speaking to Royal Insider this week, royal commentator Richard Fitzwilliams suggested Beatrice and Eugenie’s appearance at the Easter service would have “overshadowed the event”.
