Prince William's 'concerns' for Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis' future
The Prince of Wales is said to have concerns...
Prince William is said to be concerned about Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis’s future. So much so, he is said to have plans to shield them from an unpleasant fate.
The Prince of Wales is said to be “preoccupied with the built-in risk” that comes with Charlotte and Louis’s roles within The Firm.
Prince William’s ‘plans’ for Charlotte and Louis’s future
In the latest installment of her “Fresh Hell” Substack, royal biographer Tina Brown has claimed that Prince William is keen on breaking cycles when it comes to Charlotte and Louis.
Apparently, he is “preoccupied with,” this as he looks toward Charlotte and Louis’s future and reflects on his strained relationship with Prince Harry.

“I am told that the heir to the throne, Prince William, is preoccupied with the built-in risk of primogeniture’s cruelty,” Brown penned in her newsletter.
Prince William’s ‘concerns’ for Charlotte and Louis
William is said to be concerned with how Charlotte and Louis will cope as “spares” – likely due to Harry’s struggles and the historic difficulty of being in the shadow of the crown.
The future king is expected to modernise the monarchy, however, Charlotte and Louis will still likely take on roles as full time working royals.
“He is determined that his second- and third-born children, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis, are well-prepared and well-financed for independent lives and will not fall into the same cycle of thwarted freedom,” Brown said.

Writing in the iPaper last year, royal reporter Richard Palmer also chimed in on the topic.
He said that “it is by no means clear what, if any, official role Charlotte or her younger brother Louis, seven, will have when they grow up in a world in which European monarchies are slimming down to only a handful of working royals.”
Queen Elizabeth’s former press secretary, Ailsa Anderson, also told the iPaper: “William and Catherine, to a certain extent, are going to rip up the rule book and do it their way”.

Prince George’s future
The speculation comes shortly after claims that Kate Middleton’s alma mater, Marlborough College, with its new Flight School, could be Prince George’s future haunt.
It sounds like it could be a very appealing choice for Princess Kate Middleton, Prince William and Prince George, due to George’s interests in aviation.
Despite the costly fee, it would give Prince George the chance to learn about aircraft controls, safety procedures and basic flight principles.
Back in November, Kate Middleton stated that George “knows much more about aircraft than me” as she led the nation on Armistice Day, where she laid a wreath at the National Memorial Arboretum in Staffordshire.
No public announcement has been made on Prince George’s secondary school, thus far.
Melanie Sanderson, Managing Editor of The Good Schools Guide, has previously detailed why the Wales family may not have disclosed their decision.
“If the Wales family runs true to form, they will announce Prince George’s secondary school at the eleventh hour, possibly as late as September 2026,” she explained to Hello.
“They understand that the school itself, as well as George’s new peer group, will fall under intense scrutiny as soon as it is revealed and will probably want to minimise this, allowing the young royal to transition to his new school with as little fanfare as possible.”
